our service department regularly, and we have developed a number of ways to make
your visit more comfortable and informative. We know that you want straight answers,
and that’s the only way we will deliver it to you.
We understand that your knowledge of your vehicle and its necessary repairs is
probably not on par with the understanding that your technician has. In order to be
sure that his findings and reporting is as clear and concise as possible, we use this
Vehicle Information Booklet as a tool to help us communicate your vehicle's condition
to you.
Our technicians are the most qualified to work on your vehicle. They have trained
extensively, and partake in continuing education regularly to be sure that they are up to
date on any changes and improvements handed down from the manufacturer. Our
service advisors strive to make your experience with us a pleasant one. They are here to
attend to your automotive needs as well as communicate effectively with your
technician and you.

Recommendations
In the process of inspecting your vehicle for safety and reliability, your technician Randy C made the following observations and
recommends that you do the necessary repairs to resolve these issues.
Red: requires immediate attention. Yellow: in need of attention soon.
Windshield Replacement: Cracked
Item Description
The windshield of a vehicle is a transparent screen of glass put in place to protect the occupants in the vehicle. The vehicle's windshield protects the inside of the vehicle from the outside elements, as well as promoting the structural integrity of the vehicle.
Reason
If not replaced, a damaged windshield not only puts the driver and passengers at risk but also the other vehicles on the road if the windshield breaks completely.
Windshield
Exhaust Muffler Replacement:
Exhaust pre-silencer is split.
Item Description
Exhaust systems reduce the amount of noise produced by the engine and channel the
high-temperature, poisonous exhaust gases from the engine by safely routing them under the vehicle. Then, through a system of manifolds, pipes, and sound-absorbing mufflers, the gases are released out of the back of the vehicle. The muffler is located on the vehicle's underside.
Reason
If not replaced, a failing muffler will be unable to reduce the noise created by exhaust gases emitted from the engine.
Muffler
Bulb - License Plate Light: Left
license plate light out.
Item Description
back and/or front of a vehicle.
Reason
If not replaced, you will fail the vehicle inspection and could receive a ticket for improper equipment.
License Plate Light
Cabin Air Filter Replacement
Item Description
Prevents dirt, pollen, and other debris from
entering the passenger compartment through the climate control system.
Reason
If not replaced, the air conditioning system will develop an odd odor. The air conditioning filter, also known as the cabin filter, removes dust and pollen from entering the car cabin.
Cabin Air Filter
Engine Air Filter Replacement
Item Description
The air filter prevents dirt and debris from entering the engine, which could otherwise cause premature engine wear.
Reason
If not replaced, poor gas mileage and premature engine wear will result.
Air Filter
*Battery Replacement: Slow crank
-tested bad.
Item Description
The battery, in conjunction with the alternator, supplies power for engine cranking and electrical
power needed for the lights, stereo, and all other electrical components.
Reason
If the battery is not replaced periodically, the battery will fail. Also, a defective battery can contribute to starter failure.

Brake Job - Front (Replace
Pads/Resurface Rotors)
Item Description
Brake pads are the parts of a car's braking system that actually take the brunt of the frictional force necessary to stop the car. In a disc brake system, the brake pedal activates a hydraulic line which squeezes calipers against the rotors of the car's tires. Brake pads are positioned between the calipers and the rotors to absorb the energy and heat, and then provide enough grip to stop the car. Brake pad material wears out over time. Brake pads should be periodically inspected for wear, which is highly variable depending on vehicle weight and driver habits.
Reason
Brake pads must be replaced before the friction material is worn away completely. If it isn't, metal-to-metal contact will occur between the brake rotor and the worn-out brake pad. If metal-to-metal contact occurs, the brake rotor will be damaged, and it will need to be resurfaced or replaced. When the pads are replaced, the rotor must be resurfaced smooth to allow the new pads to have an even contact surface to work with. Only a small amount of material can be machined off of a rotor before it becomes unusable and must be replaced.
