Why Consider TransConnect Insurance?
You have insurance so you think you are covered. Then you get hit with a deductible. Protect
your pocket with out-of-pocket insurance.
TransConnect is a group supplemental hospital and medical expense indemnity insurance. It pays an indemnity benefit for out of pocket expenses of deductibles, co-insurance and co-payments for charges from your employer’s comprehensive medical plan.
In-Hospital Benefit
This benefit helps pay the out-of-pocket expense for inpatient hospital stays, inpatient surgeries, physician’s in-hospital charges and routine nursery care for dependent children.
Outpatient Hospital Benefit
This benefit helps pay the out-of-pocket expense for surgery in a hospital outpatient facility or a free-standing outpatient surgery center, up to $100 for surgical procedures performed in a doctor’s office; radiological diagnostic testing in a hospital outpatient facility or MRI facility (does not cover lab fees); or treatment in a hospital emergency room or urgent care center for injury due to an accident (emergency room charges for sickness are not covered). The outpatient hospital benefit is 50% of the selected In-Hospital Benefit amount.
Accident Only Ambulance Benefit
This benefit helps pay for the out-of-pocket expenses incurred for ambulance transportation (ground or air) to a hospital or
emergency center for injuries sustained in an accident.
Here’s How Your Plan Works:
You present a card to your provider at the time of service. The provider files a claim with the insurance company. A benefit is paid based upon covered out-of-pocket expenses from the underlying medical plan. The benefit offsets expenses created by the medical plan’s deductible, co-pays and/or coinsurance share.

Why Consider Critical Illness Insurance?
The number one cause of personal bankruptcy in the United States is expenses and loss of
income due to health care-related treatments.
With advances in medicine, many people are now surviving treatment of a critical illness. Unfortunately, surviving the financial impact of treatment and loss of income is another story. Critical Illness insurance coverage is designed to help insured’s with addressing cost not covered by medical insurance.
The plan pays a lump sum benefit directly to the insured upon the diagnosis of a covered illness. Benefits are also
available for subsequent illnesses, second diagnosis of same illness and for wellness screenings.
This lump-sum payment provides employees the flexibility to spend the money on whatever makes
sense for them and their family, which might include basic monthly expenses like mortgage payments, car insurance, groceries and childcare.

Why Consider Dental Insurance?
One of the most requested and utilized
employee benefits, Dental Insurance is amongst
the most appreciated employee benefits
Dental Insurance is unique from many other types of
insurance in that it is purchased with the intent to use
it vs. as a financial protection vehicle. It is a valuable

another means of early detection of other potentially
serious (and expensive) health concerns including:
heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Our Digital Advantage Dental plan includes features that provide for traditional dental care as well as
overall wellness related exams. The unique plan designs and pricing is available expressly from Digital.

Why Consider Interest Sensitive Whole Life Insurance With a Long-Term Care Rider?
80 million Americans will turn 50 over the next 18 years. 50% of couples would spend their entire savings within
one year of entering a nursing home.
Our whole life Insurance plan with a long-term care rider provides financial protection against two events that could be financially devastating to a family: death of a loved one and/or care for a chronic illness. Without a medical exam, interest sensitive whole life insurance coverage with long-term care benefits can be purchased and will build cash value with a guaranteed 4 percent interest rate and rates never change. Long-term care benefits are received as an advanced death benefit of 6 percent (monthly for up to 32 months) of the death benefit amount for care received in a licensed facility.

for both regardless of personal or family health history.
Key Product Features

› Cash value accumulates with guaranteed interest rate of 4 percent
› Coverage available for employee, spouse, children and grandchildren
› Includes Waiver of Premium and Waiver of Premium for Layoff benefits
The ability to take an “advance” against a life insurance benefit upon diagnosis of being chronically ill and still know that there will be life insurance left for loved ones is a substantially unique and affordable solution. Chronically ill means a licensed physician determines the insured is unable to perform for 90 days or longer at least two activities of daily living – such as dressing, taking a shower, eating, toileting and being able to move from one activity to another – or that you suffer severe issues with memory or being able to think.
