• After spending the 2013 season with the University of Florida, walk-on sophomore punter
Justin
Vogel
made a big impact with the Hurricanes’ special teams unit.
• In 2014, Vogel averaged 42.8 yards per punt and 62.1 yards on kickoffs. The Tampa native
was named third-team All-ACC by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA) for his
outstanding performance.
• Vogel dropped
42.9 percent of his punts (21) inside the 20-yard line
, which led the nation.
SUN LIFE STADIUM RENOVATIONS FOR 2015
• The modernization of Sun Life Stadium is moving ahead, and Miami Hurricanes football season
ticket holders will experience a new game-day environment and amenities with the kickoff of the
2015 season.
• Sun Life Stadium has been remodeled and redesigned into a state-of-the-art sporting venue with
enhanced comfort for fans, improved concessions and concourse areas, multiple premium seating
areas, and new technology inside and outside of the stadium.
• The extensive renovations significantly decreased the total number of seats at Sun Life Stadium
and impacted all season ticket holder locations. Sun Life Stadium’s new capacity is 65,069, down
from 74,916 in 2014.
MIAMI SIGNS 12-YEAR DEAL WITH ADIDAS
• In January, adidas & the University of Miami announced a landmark 12-year partnership making
adidas the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of UM through June 2027.
• The partnership, which made Miami one of adidas’ 13 licensed NCAA programs, began on
September 1 and includes investment, product and uniform development for all 18 UM programs.
