QUICK START GUIDE

Set up your PayOS™ mobile app

Add location(s)

Enable discounts

Accept tips

Below is a quick guide to accepting mobile and point of sale payments

with the SecureNet PayOS mobile app.

• Log in to the PayOS mobile app • Tap Menu and then tap Settings

• Under Sales Locations tap Selected then Plus Note: This is the location printed on your receipts

• Tap Total Tax to add your sales tax rate

Note: You can setup sales tax breakdown for county, city, state, etc.

• Select the location type: Store (point of sale), Storage, Web or Mobile

• Verify your store address

Note: You can change the Store Address by clicking Map and placing a pin on the map or tapping the Expand to manually edit the address.

• If you have other locations tap Plus and follow same instructions as above.

• On the Settings screen, tap EditDiscounts

• Tap Plus to add discounts

Note: You can add as many discounts you want. These discounts can be applied to individual products and/or to sales tickets.

If you are a business that offers services or a restaurant, you can enable tips • Tap the On/Off slider to enable tips

View receipts, reprint, and refunds

View reports

• Enable or disable signature requirement by tapping the On/Off slider and also set the minimum dollar amount requiring a signature.

• Attach your card reader into the headphone jack of your iPhone or iPad • Turn up the volume

• To run a simple charge, tap Simple Payment to switch the app into simple payment mode • Tap on the payment method and follow the prompts

Note: To sell products from your inventory, see ‘Make a sale’, below

View and Reprint Receipts

• Tap Menu and then tap Sales Tickets to view all your sales tickets • To reprint or email a receipt, select the ticket and tap Reprint. Select the appropriate action: Print or email.

Refunds

• To refund the entire ticket:

o Tap Refund on the ticket and then Refund Entire Ticket

• To refund one or more items from the ticket:

o Tap Refund on the ticket, then tap Delete.

o Select the return quantity of items being returned

o Tap the Refund button to refund specific items from the ticket

• Tap Menu and then tap Reports to view your businesses performance • Switch between graph view and grid view by clicking Graph and Grid

Add and manage products and categories

Make a sale

• On the catalog screen, tap Add to add a new category or product • While adding a product you can:

o Use the bar code scanner to add the product’s UPC or manually add a reference code for the product o Name the product and assign it to categories

o Price the product

o Mark it if it is taxable or not o Apply discounts if needed

o Tap Edit Image to add an image for your product

• On the catalog screen, tap Product to be sold, and it will move to the sales ticket • Upon order completion, tap the means of payment: Cash or Credit

When selecting cash:

• You will see:

o Subtotal before tax o Discount

o Tax o Tip

o Total

• Enter the amount of cash handled • Select Confirm Payment

• The cash drawer will open

When selecting credit:

• Swipe the credit card through the card reader and you will see:

o Cardholder name

o The last 4 digits of the card number o Expiration date

o Subtotal before tax o Discount

o Tax o Tip o Total

Manage inventory

Manage product inventory

• Tap Menu then tap Inventory to view your current inventory

• You may check each individual store’s inventory by tapping Location

• While managing inventory you may:

o Select quantity of current inventory o Insert pending orders

o Insert reorders

o Select price at location o Select tags

• Time when inventory was managed by tapping Refresh next to Quantity • To adjust current quantity:

o Tap Adjust

o Select the additional quantity

o Tap Choose Reason and select your reason

• To order additional inventory:

o Tap Order

o Select the location to send the inventory o Select the quantity

• To transfer inventory to separate locations:

o Tap Transfer o Select the location o Select the quantity

Manage stock orders

• To order more inventory:

o On the Inventory screen, tap Product to replenish o Tap Order

o Select the vendor to order from o Select the quantity to order o Tap Done to save the changes o Tap Menu and select Stock Tickets o Select the location of the order o Select the pending order

• Tap Order to submit the order • Once received, tap Receive

• To complete the order tap Complete

• To transfer inventory

o On the inventory screen, select the home location by tapping Home o Tap Product to transfer

o Tap Transfer

o Select the transfer location o Select the quantity to order o Tap Done to save the changes o Tap Menu and select Stock Tickets o Select the location of the order o Select the pending order

o Approve the transfer by tapping Approve o Decline the transfer by tapping Decline
