systems can ingest media directly while producers and writers using the Avid Interplay Assist or Interplay Access tool can log footage, mark locators, and add notes and storylines for the editors.

n As segments are completed, producers

using the Interplay Assist tool can check for clearances and product place-ment. And simultaneous reviews can be taking place at remote offices, using low-bandwidth proxy files.

system. As new needs arise, editors use the proxy media, and only neces-sary files are restored from the archive system.
