Web  Application  Developer

Thank  you  for  your  interest  in  this  position.  This  document  will  give  you  more

information  about  Acteon,  our  work,  and  this  role.  On  the  final  page  you  will  find  details   explaining  how  to  make  your  application.

Acteon

Acteon  is  a  communication  and  learning  consultancy.  We  create  award-‐winning  blended   learning  solutions  in  response  to  the  unique  requirements  of  our  clients.

Acteon  has  consistently  been  a  recognised  innovator  in  the  field  of  e-‐Learning  and  over   the  past  15  years  we  have  developed  an  outstanding  suite  of  digital  services  in  the  field   of  Knowledge  and  Learning  Management.    Acteon  is  now  a  market-‐leader  in  the  field  of   Corporate  Communication  and  Learning  Management.

Most  of  our  clients  are  national  or  international  firms  and  organisations.  We  work  for   industry-‐leading  organisations  like  Channel  4,  Bayer,  GlaxoSmithKline,  Merck,  Cotswold   Outdoor,  East  Coast  Main  Line,  and  many  more.  We  have  long-‐standing  relationships   with  clients  who  value  our  ability  to  deliver  solutions  aligned  with  the  needs  of  their   people  and  their  business.  They  also  value  the  care,  agility  and  insight  we  bring  to  client   relationships.

We  are  differentiated  by  having  the  in-‐house  expertise  and  capacity  to  link  together  and   deliver  all  the  components  of  a  successful  project:  technology,  user  interface  design,   learning  strategy,  instructional  design,  and  content  authoring.

Our  customers  greatly  value  the  quality  of  our  work,  our  can-‐do  attitude  and  highly   responsive  continued  support.

We  work  in  an  informal  structure  where  hierarchy  is  kept  to  the  minimum  –  a  working   style  that  we  value  highly  but  which  requires  colleagues  to  be  mature,  cooperative  and   self-‐directed.  This  means  that  we  are  looking  for  individuals  who  can  work  fast  and   effectively  under  pressure,  manage  their  workloads  and  be  their  own  quality  controller.

We  value  and  listen  to  the  opinions  of  all  colleagues;  good  working  relations  and  adult   attitudes  to  teamwork  are  at  the  heart  of  our  organisation.  One  of  our  partners  has   been  with  Acteon  since  it  was  founded  34  years  ago  (then  with  the  name  Information   Transfer);  in  general,  our  staff  turnover  is  extremely  low.
