“Public authorities should not use resources to duplicate
address data, likewise citizens and businesses should not
be forced to submit or collect address information
that the public already has.
Addresses in the Building and Dwelling Register (BBR) is
already authoritative base data, but it must be ensured that
public authorities can also use them as such in their IT

The MBBL should modernize the address register

maintenance of street names’ and addresses’ reference to
districts should be integrated into the address register

The municipalities will add to the register some addresses
