Gorelova Galina Konstantinovna (born in 1951) – composer, member of the

Cortes Sergey Albertovich (1935–2016) – composer, Ph.D. He graduated from

BGK (A. Bogatyrev class). Lecturer (1967–1969), Associate Professor at the Department of Composition of BSAM (2004–2016). National Artist of Belarus, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus.

Kuznetsov Vyacheslav Vladimirovich (born in 1955) – composer, member of the

Union of Composers of Belarus, Full Professor. He graduated from BGK and assistant-internship (E. Glebov class). Professor at the Department of Orchestra Conducting and Instrumentation of BSAM. Honored Artist of Belarus.

Luchenok Igor Mikhailovich (1938–2018) – composer, Ph.D. He graduated from

Mdivani Andrei Yurievich (born in 1937) – composer, member of the Union of

Khodosko Oleg Igorevich (born in 1964) – composer, Ph.D. He graduated from

BGK and assistant-internship (A. Bogatyrev class). Associate Professor at the Department of Composition of BSAM. Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus, laureate of the Republican Prize “Golden Cupid”, laureate of the National Theater Prize.

Blinov Yuri Vladimirovich (1975–2019) – pianist, educator.

Gildyuk Yuri Nikolaevich (born in 1948) – pianist, Full

Professor. He graduated from BGK (I. Tsvetaeva class). Artistic director of BGF, Professor at the Department of Special Piano of BSAM. Honored Artist of Belarus.

Ermolaeva Julia Vladimirovna (born in 1992) – pianist, educator. Graduated

from BSAM (N. Tashchilina class). Senior Lecturer at the Department of Special Piano of BSAM. Laureate of international competitions, including: XVIII International Piano Competition (France, Brest, 2013); XIII International Piano Competition named after A. Scriabin (France, Paris, 2013); the 41st International Competition “Dr. Luis Sigall” (Chile, Vignadelle Mar, 2014).

Muzykantov Alexander Dmitrievich (born in 1983) – pianist, educator. He

graduated from BSAM (Z. Kacharskaya class). BGF Soloist, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Special Piano of BSAM. Laureate of international competitions, including: International Piano Competition in memory of E. Gilels (Ukraine, Odessa, 2006); International Piano Competition (Serbia, Belgrade, 2009).

Olovnikov Igor Vladimirovich (born in 1954) – pianist, organist, vice president of

BEL EPTA, Full Professor. He graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory (Y. Flier piano class, L. Roizman organ class) and assistant-internship (headed by M. Voskresensky). BGF soloist, professor at the Department of Special Piano at BSAM. National Artist of Belarus. Honorary Academician of the International Eurasia Academy of Sciences (IEAS).

Ponochevny Andrey Vladimirovich (born in 1976) – pianist, educator. He

graduated from BSAM (Y. Gildyuk class). Concert pianist. Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of Dallas (USA, Irving). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Piano Competition "Cologne-96" (Germany, Cologne, 1996); International Piano Competition named after V. Keppel (USA, Washington, 1998); XII International competition named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (Russia, Moscow, 2002).

Sikorsky Andrey Yaroslavovich (born in 1967) – pianist, educator. He graduated

from the Moscow State Conservatory (S. Dorensky class, V. Merzhanov class), from the assistant-internship at BGK (Y. Gildyuk class). Concert pianist. Professor at Zhengzhou University (PRC), Senior Lecturer at the Department of Special Piano of BSAM (1997– 2013). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Competition “Concertino Prague” (Czech Republic, Prague, 1985); International Competition named after G. Viotti (Italy, Vercelli, 1991); International Piano Competition "Minsk – 1996" (Belarus, Minsk, 1996). Ter-Minasyan Liliya Zavenovna (born in 1939) – pianist, Full Professor. She

graduated from BGK (M. Berger class). Professor at the Department of Special Piano of BSAM. Winner of the Francis Skorina Medal.

Shatsky Valery Vladislavovich (1937–2013) – pianist, Full Professor. He

graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory and postgraduate school (Y. Flier class). Concert pianist. Professor (1963–2013), Head of the Department of Special Piano of BSAM (1997–2012).

MUSICOLOGISTS:

Dadiomova Olga Vladimirovna (born in 1955) –

musicologist (researcher of Belarusian musical culture until the twentieth century), Full Professor. She graduated from BGK (T. Volodko piano class) and from the postgraduate school of the IIEF of the BSSR (headed by I. Nazin). Professor (1993–2018), Head of the Belarusian Music Department of BSAM (2005–2017). Doctor of Art Criticism. Academician of the International Eurasia Academy of Sciences.

Nazina Inna Dmitrievna (born in 1937) – musicologist-ethno-instrumentologist

(researcher of the folk musical instrumental culture of Belarus), Full Professor. She graduated from BGK (G. Petrov piano class) and from the postgraduate school of the IIEF of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR (headed by E. Alekseev). Professor at the Belarusian Music Department of BSAM (1992–2018). Doctor of Art Criticism.

Starcheus Marina Sergeevna (born in 1949) – musicologist (researcher in the

field of musical psychology), Full Professor. She graduated from BGK (N. Yudenich class). Leading researcher at the Problem Research Laboratory of Music and Music Education, professor at the Department of Interdisciplinary Specializations of Musicologists at the P. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences.

Yakonyuk Vadim Leontyevich (born in 1946) – pianist, musicologist (researcher

in the field of musical didactics), vice-president of EPTA, chairman of the Belarusian Association of Piano Educators, full member (academician) of the International Higher Education Academy of Sciences (IHEAS), of the International Eurasia Academy of Sciences (IEAS), of the Belarusian Academy of Education, Full Professor. He graduated from BGK (I. Tsvetaeva class) and from the postgraduate school of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute (headed by O. Apraksin). Head of the Department of Musical Pedagogy, History and Theory of Performing Arts. Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences. Honored Education Worker of Belarus.

Yanpolsky Anri Borisovich (born in 1935) – violinist, Full

Professor. He graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory (L. Kogan class). Professor at the Department of String Bow Instruments of BSAM (1974–2019), Head of the Department of Violin (1990–2005).

Sarkisova Regina Nikolaevna (born in 1966) – violinist,

educator. She graduated from BGK and the assistant-internship (A. Yanpolsky class). The leading stage master-artist of the orchestra of NABT RB, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Violin of BSAM (1993-1997, 2005-2008). Honored Artist of Belarus.

Stefanovich Julia Viktorovna (born in 1974) – violinist, educator. She graduated

from BSAM (A. Yanpolsky class). The leading stage master-artist of the orchestra of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus (BGF), Lecturer at the Department of Violin of BSAM (2002-2006). Honored Artist of Belarus.

Shishkov Artem Vladimirovich (born in 1984) – violinist. He graduated from

BSAM (E. Kuchinsky class). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Violin and Viola Competition named after M. Rostal (Germany, Berlin, 2012); International Competition named after Queen Elizabeth (Belgium, Brussels, 2012).

Chernevskaya Polina Stanislavovna (born in 1994) – violinist, educator. She

graduated from BSAM (R. Krivel class). Lecturer at the Department of String Bow Instruments BSAM. Laureate of international competitions, including: III International Competition of Instrumental Ensembles named after D. Bortnyansky (Ukraine, Kiev, 2012); X International Competition of chamber ensembles and string quartets named after M. K. Oginsky (Belarus, Smorgon, 2013).

Tikhevich Valentin Pavlovich (born in 1949) – flutist, educator.

He graduated from BGK (S. Sizko class). The leading stage master-artist of the BGF orchestra, Lecturer at the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments of BSAM (1980–1982). Honored Artist of Belarus.

Kormazinova Tatyana Nikolaevna (born in 1985) – flutist,

Laureate of international competitions, including: ІІ Delphic Games of the CIS countries (Moldova, Chisinau, 2004); the International Competition of Musicians-Performers named after E. Nichkov Boris Vladimirovich (1938–2018) – oboe player, Full

Professor. He graduated from the Ural Conservatory named after M. Mussorgsky (I. Dansker class) and from the assistant-internship at the State Museum of Fine Arts named after the Gnesins (headed by I. Pushechnikov). Professor (1968–2018), Head of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments (1981–1986), of Woodwind Instruments (1989–2014) of BSAM. Doctor of Art Criticism (Russia). Honored Artist of Belarus.

Likin Yuri Bronislavovich (born in 1967) – oboe player, educator. He studied at

BSAM (B. Nichkov class), at the Paris Higher National Conservatory of Music and Dance (France). Concert oboist. Oboe Professor, Vice-dean of the Academy of Music named after L. Janacek (Czech Republic, Brno), soloist of the Prague Symphony Orchestra, Prague Brass Quintet. Laureate of republican and all-union competitions.

Leshchishin Igor Evgenievich (born in 1969) – oboe player. He graduated from

BSAM (B. Nichkov class), from the Higher School of Music (USA, New York). Concert oboist. Soloist of the Washington National Symphony Orchestra. Laureate of republican and all-union competitions.

Rassokha Maxim Nikolaevich (born in 1982) – oboe player, conductor, educator.

He graduated from BSAM (N. Renansky oboe class, B. Chudakov orchestral conducting class). Dean of the Orchestra Faculty, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Woodwind Instruments, of Orchestra Conducting and Instrumentation of BSAM. Artistic director and conductor of the BSAM brass band. Laureate of international competitions, including: International competition "Art of the 21st Century" (Finland, Jyvaskulya, 2007); International competition "European Cup" (Belarus, Minsk, 2012).

Skorokhodov Vladimir Pavlovich (born in 1939) – clarinet

player, public figure, Full Professor. He graduated from BGK (I. Bakun class). Head of the Department of Woodwind Instruments of BSAM. Candidate of Philosophic Sciences, Doctor of Culturology (Russia). Honored Artist of Belarus.

Zabara Gennady Ivanovich (born in 1952) – clarinet player,

Ph.D. He graduated from the GMPI named after the Gnesins and from assistant-internship (I. Mozgovenko class). Concerting clarinet player. Head of the Wind Department of the Children's Music School No. 8 of Minsk, Associate Professor at the Department of Woodwind Instruments of BSAM (1980–

Shimanovich Evgeny Vladimirovich (born in 1982) – clarinet player, educator.

He graduated from BSAM and assistant-internship (V. Skorokhodov class). Artist of the Belarusian Academic Musical Theater Orchestra, Lecturer at the Department of Woodwind Instruments of BSAM. Laureate of international competitions, including: III International Competition of musicians-performers on woodwind named after D. Frolov Alexey Valerievich (born in 1974) – bassoonist,

conductor, musicologist (researcher in the field of the history of Belarusian musical culture, history of performing art), educator. He graduated from BSAM (V. Budkevich bassoon class, opera and A. Sosnovsky symphony conducting class), studied at postgraduate school (headed by N. Volkov), trained at the Institute of Musicology of the Jagiellonian University (Poland, Krakow). Concerting bassoon player. Senior Lecturer at the Department of Woodwind Instruments, of Orchestral Conducting of BSAM (1998–2017). Petrov Nikita Andreevich (born in 1990) – saxophonist, educator. He

graduated from BSAM (I. Brichikov class). The leading stage master-artist of the Honored Collective “National Academic Concert Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus”, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Woodwind Instruments of BSAM. Laureate of international competitions, including: XVIII International Competition of Young Performers named after E. Coca (Moldova, Chisinau, 2012).

Volkov Nikolai Mikhailovich (born in 1943) – trumpeter, Full

Professor. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and postgraduate school (S. Eremin class). Professor, Head of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments (1986–1989), of Brass and Percussion Instruments of BSAM (1989–2017). Candidate of Art Criticism. Honored Artist of Belarus.

Kovalinsky Andrey Vitalievich (born in 1977) – trumpeter. He

studied at BSAM (N. Volkov class), at the Higher School of Music (Germany, Karlsruhe), at the Amsterdam Conservatory (Netherlands). Concert trumpeter. Soloist of the French National Orchestra. Laureate of international competitions.

Lyatte Evgeny Vadimovich (born in 1979) – trumpeter. He graduated from BSAM

(N. Volkov class). Soloist of the Thuringian Symphony Orchestra (Germany). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Festival “International Brass Games” (Russia, Ulyanovsk, 2001); International Festival of Arts “April Spring” (DPRK, Pyongyang, 2004).

Shkulepa Maxim Fomich (born in 1986) – trumpeter, educator. He graduated

from BSAM (N. Volkov class). Senior Lecturer at the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments. Laureate of international competitions, including: 1st International Competition for Performers on Brass and Percussion Instruments named after S. Ganich (Ukraine, Lviv, 2007); IX International Chamber Ensemble Competition named after M. Zhinovich Iosif Iosifovich (1907–1974) – cymbalist,

conductor, composer, Full Professor. He graduated from BGK. Artistic director and chief conductor of the State Folk Orchestra of the BSSR (1946–1974). Professor (1944–1963), Head of the Department of Folk Instruments of BGK (1949– 1963). National Artist of the USSR.

Gladkov Evgeny Petrovich (born in 1941) – cymbalist, chairman of the

Association of Belarusian Cymbalists, Artistic director of the laureate of international festivals of the ensemble "Lilea", Full Professor. He graduated from the BGK and the assistant-internship (I. Zhinovich class). Head of the Department of String Folk Pinch and Percussion Instruments of BSAM. National Artist of Belarus.

Leonchik Mikhail Alexandrovich (born in 1979) – cymbalist, educator. He

studied at BSAM (T. Sergeenko class), at the Conservatory named after Richard Strauss (jazz piano) (Germany, Munich). Concert cymbalist. Teacher in a music school (Germany, Munich). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Festival-Competition (DPRK, Pyongyang, 1999); Festival-Competition of the Conservatory named after R. Strauss (Germany, Munich, 2006).

Praded Veronika Aleksandrovna (born in 1985) – cymbalist, educator, Ph.D. in

Art Criticism. She graduated from BSAM (E. Gladkov class) and from postgraduate school (headed by E. Kurakina). Senior Lecturer at the Department of Stringed Folk-Stringed and Percussion Instruments of BSAM. Laureate of international competitions, including: International Competition named after E. Zhivalevsky Valery Serafimovich (born in 1961) – guitarist, Full

Professor. He graduated from BGK (class V. Belysheva). Professor at the Department of String Folk Pinch-Percussion Instruments of BSAM. Winner of the Francis Skorina Medal.

Skrygan Yan Anatolyevich (born in 1979) – guitarist, educator.

He graduated from BSAM (V. Zhivalevsky class), from Higher School of Music (Germany, Cologne). Concert guitarist. Lecturer at the Central Music School named after I. S. Bach (Germany). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Guitarists Competition (Poland, Krynica, 1999); International Competition “North Cup” (Russia, Cherepovets, 2000); International Competition named after E. Kukhta Pavel Evgenievich (born in 1984) – guitarist, educator. He graduated from

BSAM (E. Gridyushko class). BGF soloist, Lecturer at the Department of Stringed National Stringed Percussion Instruments of BSAM (2018–2019). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Competition named after H. Keppel (Germany, Koblenz, 2005); International Guitar Competition named after D. Osmolovskaya Galina Viktorovna (born in 1936) – domrist, Full

Maretsky Nikolai Nikolaevich (born in 1953) – domrist, mandolinist,

chairman of the Association of Belarusian domrists and mandolinists, member of the Presidium of the European Guitar Mandolin Association, educator. He graduated from BGK (G. Osmolovskaya class). Soloist of BGF, Associate Professor at the Department of String Folk Pinch and Percussion Instruments of BSAM (1979–2018). Laureate of international competitions.

Korsak Natalya Aleksandrovna (born in 1983) – domrist, mandolinist, and

educator. She graduated from BSAM (N. Maretsky class). Lecturer at the Department of Stringed Folk-Stringed and Percussion Instruments of BSAM (2008–2017). Laureate of

button accordion (bayan) player, chairman of the Association of Belarusian Bayan players and accordionists, Full Professor. He graduated from the Leningrad State Conservatory and assistant-internship (P. Govorushko class). Professor, Head of the Bayan and Accordion Department of BSAM (1981–2011). Laureate of the International Competition of Bayanists and Accordionists (Germany, Klingenthal, 1971). Honored Artist of Belarus.

Kvashevich Igor Mikhailovich (born in 1979) – accordionist. He graduated from

BSAM (N. Sevryukov class). Concert accordionist. Lecturer at the Bayan and Accordion Department of BSAM (2009–2011). Laureate of international competitions, including: International Competition named after E. Coca (Moldova, Chisinau, 2000); 41st International Accordion and Button Accordion Competition (Germany, Klingenthal, 2004).

Pligovka Vladislav Nikolaevich (born in 1986) – button accordion player,

educator. He graduated from BSAM (N. Sevryukov class). BGF soloist, educator of the Bayan and Accordion Department of BSAM (2011–2018). Ridiger Peter Vasilievich (born in 1949) – singer (baritone), Ph.D.

He graduated from the GMPI named after the Gnesins (A. Yoheles piano class, song class: N. Spiller, P. Lisitsan, A. Bolshakov, D. Varshamov). Professor at the Department of Singing BSAM. National Artist of Belarus.

Kolos Lyudmila Yakovlevna (born in 1950) – singer (lyric-coloratura soprano),
