What Will you Learn?

The Certificate IV in Human Resources (HR) will help you develop a solid foundation of practical human resource functions and skills.

You will learn to review human resource functions within a workplace, support performance

management processes, and support recruitment processes, and staff inductions. This course teaches you how to implement work health and safety policies and procedures to meet legislative

requirements and support employee and industrial relations.

On top of these skills, you will also develop your research and organisational skills and gain the ability to promote innovation in teams, and establish

Certificate IV in Human Resources

Inspire Education (Inspire—RTO # 32067) will provide you first-class training and student support while you undertake your studies in the Nationally Recognised Certificate IV in Human Resources (BSB41013). Please note, this

qualification is superseded by and equivalent to the BSB41015 Certificate IV in Human Resources. Inspire Education offers a range of Nationally Accredited training options designed to meet the needs of students, businesses and industry.

Training Delivery

The most effective and popular method of delivery is via distance-learning in the form of self-paced learning. Y ou

will have 12 months to complete the course from your enrolment date via this delivery method. We have a continual intake of students on this basis, meaning you can enrol straight away!

There are a total of 600 nominal hours for this course, which equals approximately 12 hours of study per week, however you may work at your own pace and complete your course faster if you’d like!

This course has been specifically designed to ensure you get the most out of your training. Assessm ent is conducted

using a combination of written questions, case studies and practical assessment to give you maximum opportunity to develop your HR knowledge.

There are no prerequisites, however it is preferred that students:

Are 18 years or older

Have sound language and literacy skills (at least Year 10 English, or equivalent)

Have basic computer skills It is also strongly

recommended that students:

Hold a Certificate III in Business or have some business experience.

 Latest Adobe Flash Player

 Latest Adobe Acrobat Reader (Essential for Mac Users)  Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint

 Video recording equipment (e.g. mobile phone or video

recorder) OR access to a supervisor to observe presentations

 At least 2 people to provide feedback on presentations

Students will need access to a workplace to complete

workplace-based assessments. Where the student does not have

access to a workplace, they may complete these assessments using simulated workplace activities included with the course.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within this qualification.

This can include any previous training (formal or informal) of previous life or work experience. The RPL process is really straightforward, simply indicate on your enrolment form that you would like to apply for RPL and once your enrolment is confirmed, you will receive an RPL pack to help with evidence collection. Your trainer will also call to go through any potential RPL opportunities you may have. Simple!
