Dear Colleague,

Climate change combined with the expanding universe of risk has led to a significant change in the insurance space. Asia has had its fair share of natural disasters over the past couple of years, impacting not just the affected country’s economy but damaging the insurance and reinsurance industry globally.

Insurance Insight, sister title of Post magazine

offers insurance and risk management professionals the latest news, views and comment from across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Following the success of the Insurance Strategy Asia Conference, and the UK Claims Event, Insurance Insight is proud to present the first Claims Conference Asia on 7 March 2013 at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel.

The Claims Conference Asia has been developed in consultation with leading claims experts from across Asia to identify present and future best practice and trends, promote collaboration between claims professionals across their businesses and provide the claims industry with a forum for thought-leadership. This is a challenging time for Asia Pacific claims and underwriting professionals, but also an exciting time filled with opportunities to learn and share ideas. We hope the Claims Conference Asia will help you achieve that and look forward to welcoming you on March 7th.
