5 easy steps to better banking
STEP 1:
Enroll in online banking and order your Webster
VISA® Debit Card. Just go to websterbank.com or stop by a banking center.
STEP 2:
Stop using your old account as soon as you receive your
new Webster checks.
STEP 3:
Switch your direct deposits by completing the attached
Direct Deposit Change form for each direct depositor.
STEP 4:
Redirect online and automatic payments using the
Automatic Payment Change form. Give copies to all companies who make withdrawals from your account.
STEP 5:
Close your old account with the Authorization to Close form.
This will tell your old bank how and where to send a check for any remaining balance on your old account.

For Certificates of Deposit (CDs), it is important to double check maturity dates. • Ensure all outstanding checks have cleared your old account.
