• LSU volleyball returns home for two matches, taking on Alabama on Friday and No. 13 Florida on Sunday.

• The Tigers go into the match with a 9-7 record and a 3-3 record in the SEC after falling to Georgia in a five-set thriller on Sunday.

• The Tigers own a 36-28 all-time record against Alabama. The Tigers have won the last two of three matches, claiming a five-set victory in the last meeting on the road. The Tigers won at home on Oct. 15, 2017 in four sets.

• The Tennessee match was the first time since 2017 that the Tigers came back from being down 0-2 and won the match in five sets.

The last time that happened was against Tennessee on 11/24/17.

• Head coach Fran Flory, the

winningest coach in LSU volleyball history, enters her 22nd. She owns an all-time record of 487-383.

• The Tigers are picked to finish seventh in the league this year as voted on by the head coaches in the SEC.

• Taylor Bannister became the 23rd player in program history to reach 1,000 kills against Ole Miss on Oct.

6. She needed just 10 to reach the feat and finished the match with 19. She is the seventh player in program history to accomplish

1,000 kills in their junior season.

She now has a total of 1,062 kills.

• Over the weekend, Bannister average 5.30 kill per set with 24 kills against Tennessee and a season-high 29 kills against Georgia.

• Raigen Cianciulli led the Tigers in digs on the weekend, recording 34 and averaging 3.40 per set.

• Rose picked up her second SEC weekly honor of the year as she was named Setter of the Week on Monday. She recorded two-straight double-doubles over the weekend, tallying a career-high 55 assists and 11 digs against Tennessee and 54 assissts and 11 digs at Georgia.

• Allee Morris came up big for the Tigers against the Vols, recording a career-high nine blocks and career-high 13 kills. It was the first time a Tiger recorded seven or more blocks since last season. She finished the weekend with a total of 14 blocks and 16 kills, averaging 1.40 blocks per set.

• Among the league, LSU is fourth in opponent hitting percentage, holding their opponents to a .185 mark. The Tigers are fourth in blocks behind Florida, averaging 2.43 per set.

PRACTICE TIMES/INTERVIEWS

LSU splits its practices between the volleyball practice facility and the main floor of the Maravich Center. Team sessions general- ly begin at 2 p.m.

On most days, head coach Fran Flory and players are available for interviews before practice. Members of the media who wish to cover practice should contact SID Chelsey Chamberlain for the latest practice schedule.

Phone interviews may be arranged on special occasions.

Coach Flory is usually available for office and phone interviews weekday mornings. Her office is located on the fourth floor of the Athletic Administration Building.

Requests for sit down or phone interviews must be made at least 24 hours in advance with Chamberlain.

POST MATCH INTERVIEWS

Interviews with players and coaches are done courtside postmatch after the team’s 10-minute cooling off period. Please inform SID Chelsey Chamberlain if you need to request a specific player.

For assistance with opposing coaches and players, touch base

with that school’s SID for their postmatch media procedures.
