1. The Company

Bindopor has been developing and manufacturing signage systems for 25 years and is acknowledged on the market as a reference company in its sector. We are a company with quality certification by the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Bindopor took a step ahead into the digital era by developing and introducing into the market a Digital Signage solution which, in an effective way, complements the traditional static signage. The DDS – Digital Dynamic Signage system, was presented for the 1 time in the year 2006 and has been successfully developed and installed st

since then. DDS – Digital Dynamic Signage is a registered trade mark of Bindopor.

As a specialist within the Signage sector, our Design department holds a central role in the structure of the organization, allowing us to plan and to develop solutions which smoothly integrates each project and implementation in which we intervene – we are not dealing with just another screen “hanging on a wall”.

Digital Signage, also known as “narrowcasting”, is a powerful communications tool that complements in an effective way the traditional static Signage. It combines delivery of information with the capacity to promote products and services.

The DDS Digital Signage is a multimedia platform that distributes information in different formats (html, Flash, video, text and images) through a network, rendering dynamic content available in real-time.

The possibility of choosing “touch-screen” terminals promotes interactivity with the target customer.

Scalability

From a simple, stand-alone type system, it can evolve to an installation with multiple connected Digital Terminals distributed throughout the same building / site or in buildings in different geographic locations. There are no solutions that are more or less important. From a simple interactive restaurant menu, up to large complex installations in airports or shopping malls, the DDS responds capably to each new challenge. Interior and exterior solutions are available.

Configurable

Each implementation is fully analysed, adapted and configured in order to respond efficiently to the actual needs of each project.

Connected to the world

Through an internet connection, information regarding weather reports, airport flight status, relevant news, cultural and artistic events in town, tourism activities available etc., can be provided.

Cost / Benefit

It eliminates the need to create, print and distribute static information for each situation: the contents may be updated by your staff, in any place and in real-time. The heavy logistics and hours wasted in reprinting to correct or update information are over.

4.

DDS SIGNS / DDS MEDIA

Bindopor delivers two alternatives for the content management platform software: DDS Signs and DDS Media, both based on a web-based HTML interface, which allows the platform to be operated from any computer (and some telephones or PDA’s) without the need of installing additional software or plug-ins.

The DDS terminal equipments only needs a network connection and there is no need to install any additional cable infrastructure. The possibility of using any wired or wireless network makes it possible to install screens in hard-to-reach, remote sites, or even in distinct networks.ccccccccccccccccccccccccc

Advantages of the DDS platform

Possibility of exhibiting, in parallel, various types of contents on each screen, which makes it possible for informative (for ex., directory), institutional (for ex., corporative presentation) contents, promoting services, publicity, etc., to be displayed on the same terminal.

Integrated management of multiple content broadcasting channels directed to different audiences, according to timeframe, location, regional, etc., criteria. For example, a chain of retail stores may have specific contents for each city (local products), region or country.

Automatic content programming of recurrent contents according to schedules (for example, the announcement of the daily lunch menu, the promotion of the product of the week, or the annual simulation of a fire).

THE ACCESS

The DDS SIGNS is supplied as a SaaS (Software as a Service) model, fully based on the Internet, so you only need normal web access, both for the terminals and for the operation. This model provides the best advantages in terms of management, operation and remote assistance.

The DDS MEDIA can be supplied as a SaaS model or a local installed version. For intensive use of many terminals (especially with high definition multimedia contents), it is recommended the installation of a DDS Media Server Module allowing the individual control of hundreds of displays connected within a local network.

ECO_DDS is a completly wireless display solution powered by high capacity rechargeable batteries and connected to the local network through a dedicated ZigBee wireless infrastructure.

The ZigBee Coordinator connects the ECO_DDS wireless network to the local network using an IP protocol on the Internet ou Intranet. All ECO_DDS infrastructures require at least one Coordinator.

The ZigBee Router functions as a signal relay, improving the normal range from 50 meters(without obstacles) to virtually a unlimited area using only one Coordinator.

Total Visibility

ECO_DDS screens reflect ambient and are clearly visible under direct sunlight. Because the screens emit no light at all, the screens are non-intrusive and usuable in virtually any environment.
