The RL-B17F color video doorphone can be used to monitor, call, intercom and unlock.It is a product that is very suitable for villa, single house, hotel, office and etc, giving you the combined benefit of security and
convenience.

Caution
·Keep the indoor unit away from high temperature such as near an oven or under direct sunlight, and high humidity such as bathroom and greenhouse.
·Do not install the indoor unit close to a television or position with strong jamming- the signals the TV and the intercom use can be interfered with each other.
·Do not touch the unit with wet hands.
·Avoid throwing, dropping or hitting the units.
·Clean the camera or screen with a soft cloth. Do not use detergent,thinner, volatile or corrossive liquid.
·Do not expose the camera of the outdoor unit to direct sunlight.
·Use the product under the circumstance of barrier-free and no inteference.
·When a car or a motorbike passes by, the image may become blurred or be cut off due to the interference of radio wave.
System Installation
A. Indoor Unit
1) Fasten the bracket of the video indoor unit on the wall with screws.
Adopt 4 x 40PM screws to install it on 86 box.
Adopt 4 x 30BA screws to install it on the wall.
2) Hang the unit on the bracket after finishing the connection. Plug the enclosed adapter into the sockets of AC power and the unit.
1. To prevent damage, the adapter should be fastened on the wall according to instruction.
2. Power plug as disconnecting device should be kept convenient to operate.

5 5. Finally seal the screw holes with enclosed silicone caps.
3. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram.
4. Fix the outdoor unit into the rain shade and fasten the bottom with screws.
(Screw size: 2.6x8BA)
2. Drill three holes in proper size in the wall and fasten the rain shade on the wall with screws.(Screw size: 4x40FA)
1. Install the outdoor unit at the height of 1.4m~1.7m up from the ground and avoid direct sunlight and rain.
2) Oblique base
1. Install the outdoor unit at the height of 1.4m~1.7m up from the ground and prevent direct sunlight.
2. Drill two holes in proper size in the wall and fasten the oblique base on the wall with screws.(Screw size: 4x40FA)
3. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram.
4.Fix the outdoor unit into the oblique base and fasten the bottom with screws.
(Screw size: 3x10FM)
5. Finally seal the screw holes with enclosed silicone caps.

Wiring Requirement
1) Generally please use 15m cable to connect indoor unit with outdoor unit.
2) RVV4 x 0.5mm connecting wire can be chosen if you want to lengthen it2
to 15~50m.
3) RVV4 x 0.75mm connecting wire can be chosen if you want to lengthen 2
it to 50~100m.
4) Use RVV2 x 1.0mm connecting wire for the electric-lock.Connect the 2
wiring terminal 1,2,3,4 of indoor unit with the wiring terminals 1,2,3,4 of outdoor unit respectively. The wiring terminals 5 and 6 of indoor unit are connected to electric-lock through RVV2x1.0mm2 wire. The wiring terminals 7 and 8 of indoor unit are connected to gate lock through RVV2x1.0mm wire.Please refer to the wiring diagram during 2
connection.
Please choose only one connecting method to do the connection. The electric lock can be connected either with the indoor unit or with the outdoor unit. Connecting the electric lock with both the indoor and outdoor unit at the same time is prohibited.

1) Press CALL button of outdoor unit to call. The doorbell will ring and the images of visitors will be shown on the indoor unit. Press TALK ( ) to activate the intercom. Press TALK ( ) again to disconnect. Each talking time lasts for about 120 seconds.
2) Press UNLOCK ( ) button to release the electric door lock.
3) Press GATE UNLOCK ( ) button to release the outdoor gate.
4) Press MONITOR ( ) button to monitor the outdoor. The monitoring time is about 40s.
5) After you press the MONITOR ( ) button, you can press the TALK ( ) button to talk with the person at the gate while monitoring outdoor.
Then you can press the TALK ( ) button to end monitor and intercom.
6) Turn the adjust knobs ( ), ( ) and ( ) on the side of indoor unit to adjust the brightness,chroma and talking volume.

Problem

·Make sure all the connections are secure and properly connected.
·Make sure your monitor is plugged into a power source.
·Make sure there is nothing obstructing the view o f t he c amera.

·Make sure all the connections are secure and properly connected.

·Make sure there is nothing interfering with the speaker or microphone on the indoor unit or the camera.
