Cré Olé (pronounced Cray Olay), is the only local magazine dedicated exclusively to the dining industry, providing a comprehensive restaurant guide for visitors and locals every year.

Cré Olé is endorsed by the TDC and supported by the THRA and THA. Cré Olé is online on www.cre-ole.com Cré Olé Trinidad & Tobago has been published continuously since 2003 our 13th edition was published this year in 2015.

Cré Olé makes it easy for potential diners to choose and find restaurants through sample menus, price guides and exhaustive reference categories, including different cuisines, private dining or weekday special menus and more. Its international award-winning design advantages include a separate pull out map showing restaurant locations and a die-cut bookmark to mark your favorite restaurant or next choice. Restaurants in Cré Olé get substantial, additional, free exposure through Cré Olé’s online website, facebook page, email marketing and digital publication.

The name Cré Olé is a combination of the French verb “créer” (to create or produce and, “Olé”, the

international word for “celebration” given to the world by the Spanish. The magazine, like many of us, is also Creole in that, though perhaps descended from Europe, Africa or India, it was born right here in the

Caribbean.

Cré Olé is edited by veteran journalist and Trinidad Guardian columnist, BC Pires, and published by Carla Castagne of Maverick Marketing Ltd, a private company incorporated in Trinidad.

What we offer

REAL DINING IMPACT

Cré Olé has real impact. Cré Olé is primarily about restaurants. All our features or other advertisers relate or complement dining. The advertiser doesn’t have to worry whether people will find his ad in a corner or one a page in a cluttered newspaper or magazine because readers pick Cré Olé up primarily when they have already firmly made up their minds they are going out to dine and spend money. Their only decision is where they're going to do it; obviously any restaurant not in Cré Olé will not be considered.

Every year we change our layout, write up and pictures. We encourage restaurants to update and/or change their menus as well. This is why readers are never bored and always want a new Cré Olé

This is an optional page taken in addition to a restaurant page for restaurants who want to make a big impact for the year. Food pages make a reader stop and ususally hungry if they aren’t already

Ideal for restaurants offering a quick bite, usually a takeaway or limited menu.

These layouts change every year including vertically or horizontally. We also change write ups, pictures and menus

Distribution

Cre Ole prints 30,000+ magazines annually of which the TDC distributes up to 10,000 copies. Magazines are distributed in Trinidad and Tobago and internationally throughout the year they are printed.

Applying the usual trade multiplication of six suggests at least 180,000 to 360,000 people will read Cre Ole but the figure is probably far higher, since Cré Olés in hotel rooms are read by many more than one guest and “office copies” of Cré Olé may service whole departments.

We also know that local residents keep their copies (which they share with visitors) year round and beyond. It seems no one throws away their Cré Olé, no matter what year it is. Every issue is a collector’s item. Magazines are firstly distributed to all hotels, guest houses, marinas and tour operators. Then given to all advertisers. The remainder of the year we deliver continuously (free of charge) to the above and listings below and many

more:-Gated apartments and townhouse communities Real estate companies

Embassies and high commissions Chamber of commerces and TTMA Government ministries

Corporate companies such as banks, oil & gas related, insurance, advertisingagencies and more

Car rental agencies Taxi services

Magazines are also available to the TDC and the THA for their own distirbution and marketing

Having been around for the past 13 years Cré Olé is well known in the local community and we get requests all year from residents who may have friends and family visiting or simily for their own use.
