Alloway EYC Home Learning
Week 11 Home Learning 15th June 2020
Good morning everyone 😊
I hope you all remain safe, happy and well 😊and I hope you have all had a lovely
weekend.
This week, EYC staff remain to work form the nursery and continue preparations for
our return in August. This is going very well so far and we will keep you up to date with
all our changes in due course.
At this time of year we would usually be getting ready for our Summer Concert.
unfortunately, due to the current circumstances this is not possible, but I thought we
could celebrate the summer and the end of session in a different way, in the form of a,
Summer Celebration Garden Party
We would love if you and your family could host your own little Summer Celebration
Garden Party on the week beginning the 22
ndJune (next week). Please choose a time
and date convenient for you, and celebrate.
Here are some ideas of what you might want to do to make your party special;
Make invitations to your party for family
Get dressed up in party clothes
Play your favourite music
Decorate your garden
Make cakes and treats to have as a snack
Play party games
Sing songs together
I would love if you could send me 1 PHOTO from your garden party and I will create
and end of year video of all our children to share with you all.
Therefore, this week’s planning will be based around the preparations of your garden
party next week 😊
Take care and stay safe!
Summer Celebration Garden Party
Some suggestions as to what you may want to make for your garden party
Invitations- Write/ Mark make invitations for your family members to
attend. Get creative and make your own invitation or use the template
provided.
Decorations- You may want to make your own posters, signs or bunting for
your party.
Place Mats- Create a unique placemat for those who are attending your
party.
Snacks and Treats-Practice making your favourite snacks and treats for
your party. Plan a balanced party snack with healthy options as well as
treats.
Plan your outfit- Think about your favourite party clothes, a party dress,
or smart shirt, or summer clothes.
Plan your play list- Ask your parents to help you create your own play list
for the party with all your favourite songs, and party songs.
Plan your party games- think about the games we play at parties we have
had in the nursery, music bumps, musical statues, best dancer, hokey
cokey and ring games. Practice these this week.
Practise singing songs- I have attached some summer songs to sing to
familiare tunes that you can practice, and sign at your Garden Party.
