Dear Members and Friends of Artistic Dance!
It is my great pleasure to inform you all that Dance Institutions and Dance Schools from around the world have applied for WADF Membership in large numbers.
During the past three weeks new members have joined our family from Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa and Sweden. The WADF membership will soon pass through the 100 ceiling.
It is especially exciting to see that not only Couple Dance Institutions and Dance Schools are joining but the new members are coming mainly from the Stage and Street dance sections. Our Managing Committee and Ambassadors are doing a great job informing their colleagues of the possibilities offered by the WADF to develop their businesses.
The enrolments for Liberec are increasing daily, to the extent that when the deadline passes we estimate to have received 3000 enrolments. Competitors and relatives who have not yet booked their accommodation a special document for the World Championships has been prepared. Invitation
to an
INTERNATIONAL
ADJUDICATOR SEMINAR
WADF Members are hereby invited to send candidates to an International
Championships Adjudicator Seminar.
This Seminar is open to all National Adjudicators who have previous
experience in adjudicating dance competitions and have passed a
National WADF Adjudicator Seminar or has otherwise been qualified by
their WADF National Artistic Assembly.
This Seminar is free-of–charge but any candidate wishing to take
the examination to become registered as a WADF International
Championship Adjudicator will be required to a 50.00 (Euro) License
Fee. The license is for life and does not have to be upgraded and there
is no yearly License Fee.
This Seminar will be held in:
Liberec, Czech Republic on Tuesday 28th of October
in CENTRUM BABYLON HOTEL
starting at 14:00 hours.
Enrolments for the Seminar are to be sent by Email to the PRESIDENTS

to be received by Sunday 26th October.

roposals must be received at the Head Offi ce by 30th September.Deadline for Amendments to proposals is 14th October. The Final Agenda will be circulated on 21st October.
Supportive Members are welcome to attend the meeting as Observers. Active Single Members have one (1) basic vote.
Active Branch Members have two (2) basic votes.
All Members who have registered their dancers for WADF Licenses will receive additional votes according to the number of current up-to-date Licenses that have been issued. One (1) additional vote per twenty (20) current Licenses.

House Dance:
The WADF invites all members to enroll competitors for the
WADF World Championships in Liberec 29/10 – 02/11 2014.
We are proud to announce that over 1000 competitions will be included in the programme, divided over 5 days in 2 and sometimes 3 halls. 20 countries are expected with the highest number of enrolments to date for a WADF Championship event. It promises to be one of the largest dance events ever.
Enrolment Closing Date:
The closing date for enrolments, made by WADF Members only, is 1st October 2014
Enrolment Fees:
10 Euro for one discipline, 20 Euro for two disciplines, 30 Euro for three disciplines or more. The starting fees will be collected by the Organiser in accordance with the WADF Competition Rules & Regulations.
Active Members may enroll dancers for all disciplines.
Supportive Members may only enroll dancers for Beginners and Open Class competitions.
Competitor Licenses:
Beginners and Open Class competitors do not need to have a Competition License. Competitors for all other competitions must hast a current Competition License.
The license fee for 2014 is 10 Euro, valid until 31st December 2015 must be paid before any enrolments can be made. Please follow the guidelines on how to register and enroll dancers to WADF Championships. (Attached to this issue of Artistic Dance News).

WADF Executive Secretary in Malaysia
Our WADF Executive Secretary, Mr. Stuart Saunders, recently visited Malaysia, following the invitation of our Malaysian Ambassador, Mr. John Lim, to present the WADF to teachers and coaches of various WADF disciplines and join the panel of Adjudicators for the 12th Crystal Championships that were held on Sunday 31st August.
Artistic Dance Awards Moscow
The extremely successful Artistic Dance
Awards that was organised in Moscow last
year is again organised by Irina Shmalko
the 18th-19th October.
28 Clubs from many parts of Russia will be
represented at this fabulous event. The Prize
presentation of the most successful dancers
during the year will take place in the luxary
Hotel Korston as last year.

We wish the Russian Dance Union and the
