Works Cited points to remember:
The title “Works Cited” should be centred and at the top of the page.
1. The works cited section of a research paper lists all of the material used in your text – facts, opinions or quotations.
2. Entries in the list of works cited are to be alphabetized by the author’s last name. If the author’s name is not known, alphabetize by the first word in the title other than A, AN, or THE.
3. Do not number the works.
4. Do not include degree designations (e.g. B Sc, B A).
5. Indent about seven (7) spaces in the hanging indent style of formatting.
6. Leave one (1) blank line between citations and two (2) blank lines between the title and the first citation.
