CATHOLIC CHARITIES COLLECTION At all Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, there will be a second collection for Catholic Charities. At Catholic Charities, we help people, regardless of their faith, who are struggling with poverty and other complex issues. The national office, through its advocacy and disaster relief programs—and its support of member agencies in our network—is making tangible progress toward better serving and loving our neighbors across the country. Our collective efforts focus on a set of strategic priorities that make a difference in the lives of people in need.

Thank you for your generosity!

OTHER CATHOLIC NEWS & EVENTS

The Winn Family would like to

express their sincere gratitude to Father Timothy Kuhneman as well as Father Sonny Guadalupe and Deacon Smithberger for presiding over the Mass of the Resurrection for George “Bob” Winn. Many thanks to Erin Laurence and Michael

Sprangers for coordinating the service. We are extremely appreciative for the Funeral

Committee, Sunshine Club, and all the other parishioners who prepared and brought food to the funeral reception. To the many friends who helped plan and facilitate the celebration of Bob’s life, our family will be forever thankful for your kindness and service. We feel blessed to have Holy Spirit Parish during this time. Thank you!

Interested in living the gospel in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi? Living Gospel to Life and life to Gospel, this is what we do. Gospel to life means we are to take the teachings of Jesus Christ and apply them to our everyday situations. Life to Gospel means we are to mirror our life to Jesus’

life. We are to turn the other cheek, walk the extra mile, suffer as He suffered, pray as He prayed, forgive as He forgave, love as He loved. Join one of the oldest secular orders in the Catholic church, the Secular Franciscan Order. As Secular Franciscans, we live with our families, attend school and perform our jobs out into the world, gathering in prayer, fraternity and service.
