Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation has received a $2,883.00 grant from the Community Grants Fund through the Community Foundation of Pulaski County. This grant supported the EPCSC Auditorium Video Project.

Two large-screen televisions were installed in the EPCSC Auditorium with the capability of serving the school corporation in classroom presentations, convocations, lectures, performances, virtual meetings, etc. The televisions offer innumerable possibilities for school usage, as well as for the multiple community activities that EPCSC Auditorium hosts.

EPCSC received the grant shortly before remote learning began in March 2020, and installation has been recently completed.

Such an achievement represents a quality collaboration, including the thorough installation by local businessman, Mr.

Mark Hoffman of Jubilee Sound.

Mr. Patrick Schuttrow applied for the grant with the cooperation and help of Mrs. Katie DeGroot.

Schuttrow praised the new project as “highly beneficial for both EPCSC and the community events which are hosted in the auditorium.” The project has greatly increased the capabilities for the use of technology in the auditorium. The televisions

Accepting the grant on behalf of Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation are Superintendent Mrs. Dara Chezem and Grant Applicant/Teacher Mr. Patrick Schuttrow. The grant was presented by the Community Foundation of Pulaski County Executive Director, Mrs. Wendy Rose.

EPCSC receives Community Foundation Grant

will begin immediate usage. Schuttrow added, “We are so grateful for the Pulaski County Community Foundation’s commitment to stewardship in serving the entire community through grants such as these.”

The Community Foundation of Pulaski County encourages the growth of endowed funds to serve and enrich our community today and tomorrow. It is committed to improving the quality of life by funding community projects, stewarding endowed funds for the future, and fostering philanthropy in Pulaski County.
