Encourage consistent language terminology throughout the primary division. Encourage regular school to home communication to promote reading strategies.

Our math scores require greater attention. Increased manipulatives in the classroom will assist students as they work their way through the new Nelson program. Teachers have been attending frequent workshops and developing their pedagogy.

Continue to provide exposure to higher level mathematic problems to help move level 2 and 3 students to level 4. Continue to ensure the effective use of basic manipulatives such as pattern blocks and base ten blocks.
