Come, Behold the Wondrous Mystery

Words and Music: Matt Papa, Matt Boswell, Michael Bleecker

VERSE 1

Come behold the wondrous mystery in the dawning of the King. He the theme of heaven’s praises robed in frail humanity.

In our longing, in our darkness now the light of life has come. Look to Christ, who condescended, took on flesh to ransom us. VERSE 2

Come behold the wondrous mystery, He the perfect Son of Man. In His living, in His suffering, never trace nor stain of sin.

See the true and better Adam come to save the hell-bound man. Christ the great and sure fulfillment of the law; in Him we stand. VERSE 3

Come behold the wondrous mystery, Christ the Lord upon the tree.

In the stead of ruined sinners hangs the Lamb in victory.

(2)

Bringing many sons to glory, grace unmeasured, love untold. VERSE 4

Come behold the wondrous mystery; slain by death the God of life. But no grave could e’er restrain Him; praise the Lord; He is alive! What a foretaste of deliverance; how unwavering our hope.

Christ in power resurrected as we will be when he comes. TAG

What a foretaste of deliverance; how unwavering our hope. Christ in power resurrected as we will be when he comes.

Hallelujah, What a Savior

Words and Music: Philip P. Bliss

VERSE 1

Man of Sorrows! what a name for the Son of God, who came Ruined sinners to reclaim. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

VERSE 2

Bearing shame and scoffing rude, in my place condemned He stood; Sealed my pardon with His blood. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

(3)

VERSE 3

Guilty, vile, and helpless we; spotless Lamb of God was He; “Full atonement!” can it be? Hallelujah! What a Savior!

VERSE 4

Lifted up was He to die; “It is finished!” was His cry; Now in Heav’n exalted high. Hallelujah! What a Savior! VERSE 5

When He comes, our glorious King, all His ransomed home to bring,

Then anew this song we’ll sing:

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! What a Savior! See, What a Morning

Words and Music: Stuart Townend and Keith Getty

VERSE 1

See what a morning gloriously bright With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem.

Folded the grave-clothes, tomb filled with light, As the angels announce Christ is risen.

(4)

See God's salvation plan: wrought in love, Borne in pain, paid in sacrifice,

Fulfilled in Christ the Man, for He lives, Christ is risen from the dead!

VERSE 2

See Mary weeping, where is He laid?

As in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb; Hears a voice speaking, calling her name,

It's the Master, the Lord, raised to life again.

The voice that spans the years, speaking life, Stirring hope, bringing peace to us

Will sound till He appears, for He lives, Christ is risen from the dead!

VERSE 3

One with the Father, Ancient of Days,

Through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty. Honor and blessing, glory and praise

(5)

And we are raised with Him, death is dead, Love has won, Christ has conquered.

And we shall reign with Him, for He lives, Christ is risen from the dead!

TAG

And we are raised with Him, death is dead, Love has won, Christ has conquered.

And we shall reign with Him, for He lives, Christ is risen from the dead!

Yet Not I, But Through Christ in Me

Words and Music: Michael Farren, Jonny Robinson, Rich Thompson

VERSE 1

What gift of grace is Jesus my Redeemer; There is no more for heaven now to give. He is my joy, my righteousness and freedom, My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peace.

(6)

For my life is wholly bound to His.

Oh how strange and divine, I can sing; all is mine! Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

VERSE 2

The night is dark, but I am not forsaken, For by my side, the Savior, He will stay. I labor on in weakness and rejoicing, For in my need His power is displayed.

To this I hold: my Savior will defend me; Through the deepest valley He will lead.

Oh the night has been won, and I shall overcome! Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

VERSE 3

No fate I dread; I know I am forgiven;

The future sure, the price, it has been paid. For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon, And He was raised to overthrow the grave.

(7)

Jesus now and ever is my plea.

Oh the chains are released, I can sing: I am free! Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

VERSE 4

With every breath I long to follow Jesus, For He has said that He will bring me home. And day by day I know He will renew me Until I stand with joy before the throne.

To this I hold: my hope is only Jesus; All the glory evermore to Him.

When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat: Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

TAG

To this I hold: my hope is only Jesus; All the glory evermore to Him.

When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat: Yet not I, but through Christ in me,

Yet not I, but through Christ in me, Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

-When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. They were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was extremely large. Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed.

And he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him!”

Yet Not I, but Through Christ in Me

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Gal. 2:20
