Our people currently have on average 14 years’ experience, both as consultants and in senior human resources roles with companies like Marks & Spencer, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Homebase and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Small and medium sized businesses How about the peace of mind of checking your compliance with employment law? Or dealing with an awkward employee situation, before the costs and disruption get out of control? We’re a cost effective alternative to having your own HR manager.

Our Teammate® retained HR service gives

you the ongoing reassurance of professional HR support as and when you need it, for a fixed monthly fee. Or we’ll be very happy to work with you on one-off jobs; as much or as little advice as you need.

Corporates

Our consultants are all experienced in a corporate setting, so they’ll quickly slot into your team, saving you time and money. We have a range of technical specialisms that you can call on to back up your HR generalists on a project basis. Or just call on our resources when you’re at capacity internally.

Whatever the size of your business,

whatever the sector, we’ll tailor our

advice and support to your needs,

with a focus on getting cost

effective results.

Private Sector

Headstogether helped us to complete

a restructuring programme at a senior level,

to very challenging deadlines. They quickly

got to grips with our environment and were

able to hit the ground running, delivering

the project with minimal input from us.

That really took the pressure off my team.

Not for Profit

Many of our not for profit clients tell us they feel squeezed at both ends right now. Expected to govern themselves like the public sector, without the resources of the public sector, and under increasing funding pressures. We can help you by using our experience across similar organisations, to enable you to be as robust and efficient as you can be.

We can measure your organisation’s fitness using techniques like strategic review, evaluating job roles and benchmarking salaries. Or we can support your own HR function on an ongoing basis with specialist advice, as required; a trusted sounding board.

In challenging times you

can lean on our experience.

Headstogether were exactly the right choice to carry

out our organisational review, and the programme of

changes that followed. The team got to know us, and

between them had the complete range of specialist

skills and experience we needed, which saved us a

lot of time, disruption and cost.

DR. DAVID HILL

BOARD MEMBER AND FORMER CHAIR CRESCENT ARTS CENTRE

(6)

The Board is the oversight body for the PSNI, an organisation with

over 9,500 staff and a budget of £835 million. Access to limited

internal resources sometimes requires the Board to seek specialist,

external expertise. In their work with us on people related issues, the

consultants from Headstogether have always impressed us with their

ability to strike exactly the right balance between professionalism,

and understanding and respect for individuals.

ANNE CONNOLLY

CHAIR, NORTHERN IRELAND POLICING BOARD

Public Sector

We’re specialists in grievance and disciplinary matters, including at the most senior levels. We investigate efficiently and discreetly and provide clear, decisive reports. We are experienced in providing expert witness testimony at employment tribunal. As budgetary pressures bite, we’re increasingly focused on restructuring and change management. Our capabilities cover strategic, organisational and cultural aspects.

As a well-established

independent consultancy,

we provide a realistic, credible

and cost effective alternative

to the big national firms.

Teammate

®

You’ll be assigned your own consultant who’ll get to know you and your organisation. We start with a free HR audit, so you know where you’re starting from. After that you can contact your consultant by telephone, e-mail or face to face, when you need support. Or just to sound out an idea.

Teammate is our outsourced human

resources support service, giving

you advice as and when you need

it, for a fixed monthly cost.

WHAT YOU GET

A qualified, experienced professional who will get to know you and be your adviser. A free initial HR audit so that you know where you’re starting from.

Personal hands on advice when you need it, by telephone, e-mail or face to face. Quarterly face to face health checks to discuss how things are going in your business.

Advance warning of changes in employment law relevant to you. So you can plan for them and not be caught out. A reduced rate for one-off HR projects, if you need them.

WHAT YOU DON’T GET

A call centre number. A software program to put on your computer, so you can look up the answers yourself. Tied in to a long-term contract.

HR is inherently difficult and is a quagmire of byzantine

structures, human emotions and complicated legislation,

particularly in a dual-jurisdiction context. Headstogether’s

skill is to make sense out of this complexity and deliver simple,

smart and flexible solutions that are appropriate to the size of

the business. Could not recommend highly enough.

You’ll get specialist expertise

As individuals and as a company, we’re human resources specialists. Not an accounting fi rm, an insurance company or a trade federation. We’re purely focused on providing human resources advice to you.

It’ll be delivered by a

person you know and trust

You’ll always be dealing with an individual or a team of individuals, face to face. Particularly important when you’re facing sensitive people issues, which you might not be used to dealing with.

And you’ll know

the costs up front

We’ll never charge you for an initial discussion about the help you need, and we’ll be completely clear with you about fees before we start any work. No surprises.
