Maximising your Influence as a Leader by Refining your High Level Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Skills

As Project Manager, your ability to influence and engage a variety of internal and external stakeholders is vital to your effectiveness and the success of your projects. Furthermore, as you move into senior leadership roles where the stakes are high, your capacity to communicate effectively becomes even more important. Technical excellence is essential; you still have to deliver the ‘right outputs’ in the ‘right way’, but achieving this is helped enormously by building and leading a motivated project team, and fostering strong relationships with key external stakeholders.

Exceptional communication is the cornerstone of effective project leadership and is a crucial skill to ensure the long-term profitability, sustainability, productivity and quality service delivery of all organisations. Women often possess a natural ability to communicate so this innate strength should be harnessed and employed at all stages of leadership to gain support, engage stakeholders and deliver successful projects.

This interactive workshop will provide a proven toolkit of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies, equipping female leaders with the skills needed to build relationships and achieve success.

Developing a competitive edge in leadership through communication: • Communicating with clarity and precision - Strategies and techniques • Finding confidence and assertiveness in difficult conversations and situations Stakeholder engagement skills for leaders:

• Developing perspective flexibility for managing a variety of conflicting stakeholder priorities • Techniques for optimising stakeholder engagement

• Optimising your leadership by mastering exceptional communication and engagement skills Leveraging your engagement for career success:
