CCTV MANAGMENT
CCTV Management Informati on Soft ware is an essenti al tool for any CCTV manager. It is PC based incident-logging soft ware which solves the problem of recording incidents in a busy control room environment enabling you to say goodbye to paper based incident logging.
It helps you to create, view and edit incident-logs quickly and effi ciently, and with the assistance of powerful built-in search, fi lter and KPI tools it eff ortlessly produces informati on rich reports with just a few mouse clicks.
SELECT is both, as the world’s fi rst CCTV Management Informati on soft ware to provide Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
‘1 SMALL STEP
... AND ONE GIANT LEAP’
‘1 SMALL STEP
Fusion-Incident-Vantage enabled you to work smarter. Now SELECT provides the power for you to fi nancially analyse your CCTV operati on as well.
“A fi nancially aware CCTV manager is a fi nancially astute CCTV manager”
By analysing the costs of your CCTV operati on you can now plan ahead by using Fusion-Incident-Select’s built-in fi nancial KPIs which help you to be more aware of your CCTV operati onal costs.

An important indicator for CCTV managers is to be able to measure the work output of their CCTV system. The System Producti vity KPI provides a rati o of the number of
incidents dealt with per operati onal hour which can be used to indicate your schemes overall performance.
Based on the nati onally acknowledged CIPFA model for Local Authority accounti ng, the indicator measures the average annual operati ng cost per camera per hour. Intended to analyse the net operati ng cost it can be used to facilitate improvements in economy and
operati onal effi ciency

The ability to generate revenue through CCTV schemes is att racti ng a lot of interest from CCTV managers, especially in the current economic climate. The CCTV External Contributi on KPI reveals the level of external contributi ons in
percentage terms. For an overall analysis of the funding of your
scheme both internal and external contributi ons need to be taken into account. This indicator brings together all sources of funding including services provided to other Local Authority departments from which revenues are recovered.
CCTV EXTERNAL
CONTRIBUTION KPI
CCTV ALL
The System Effi ciency KPI measures the cost per producti ve acti vity. In monetary terms it can be used to assess the ‘value for money’ aspect of the scheme by suggesti ng the cost in real terms of dealing with incidents.
It is widely recognised that the majority of CCTV schemes record images 24/7 and the Police, amongst other organisati ons, uti lise these resources to review incidents and gather evidence. Fusion-Incident-Select provides two KPI’s in relati on to recorded evidence. The fi rst measures the total number of RTV’s per camera over one year and provides an average annual rate fi gure. The second shows the annual percentage of RTV’s seized for evidence.

With the release of SELECT, Fusion-Incident now includes even more of the features and functi onality you have been asking for, “the NEW essenti als”.
At Meyertech we understand “you’re only as good as your last game” and, even though one-hundred-per cent of Fusion-Incident-Vantage users stated they would recommend it to other organisati ons our development team have been dedicated to improving and adding new features to its replacement Fusion-Incident-Select.
FUSION-INCIDENT SELECT
NEW ESSENTIALS
The new ‘Word Assist’ tool is a valuable additi on to Fusion-Incident-Select assisti ng users to quick-ly and accuratequick-ly complete the ‘Incident Details’ secti on of any incident-log. When using this facility spellings can be checked and word defi niti ons and synonyms provided for any text entered. New words can even be entered into the dicti onary.
WORD ASSIST
Accessibility improvements have been made to the Fusion-Incident-Select user interface. Users can now select the appropriate font size for the display of all text from in
Standard, Medium and Large setti ngs. The setti ng is applied automati cally when
users log-on.
EASE OF ACCESS
Any type of media including images, video clips and documents ETC can now be
att ached to a parti cular incident-log and saved in the ‘Evidence Vault’. All associated media is presented as a list and the user simply selects, for example, the ‘Show Document’ to display* the document.
INCIDENT MEDIA
EVIDENCE VAULT
Incident management console search faciliti es have been enhanced with a
quick-set’ facility allowing managers to select year & month, or week & day number to look at the same period on a regular basis.
What used to take twelve mouse clicks to create a search can now be achieved in just two mouse clicks using this powerful
new feature.
INCIDENT SEARCH
Fusion-Incident-Select now supports the creati on of unlimited Preset-Filters.
Managers can create and save uniquely named Preset-Filters from within Fusion-Incident-Select-PMCD and SMCD.
Reports-Manager allows managers to easily and
quickly list their created reports by day, week and month and display the
results on-screen.
Request To View & Seize functi onality has been enhanced to allow organisati ons to input their own Terms & Conditi ons which will be printed on every receipt produced. The T&C informati on can be typed-in or copy & pasted from
another source.
PRESET FILTERS AND
REPORTS MANAGER
RTVS RECEIPTS
For managers who prefer to create their own reports and documents you can now copy the current window to the Clipboard and paste the contents into, for example, a Word document and, if MS Paint is present Fusion-Incident-Select will automati cally open it to allow the user to crop and edit the image.
CLIPBOARD COPY
A new useful feature when completi ng Incident logs is the additi on of IC codes. When a user ‘hovers’ their mouse cursor over the ‘IC’ label a list of Identi ty Codes appear to assist with completi on of the incident details. IC codes are used on a regular basis by the Police, Street Wardens and PCSO’s to describe the apparent ethnicity of a suspect.
Essenti al to any CCTV Management Informati on soft ware applicati ons are the ti me saving, accuracy and reporti ng benefi ts they off er over paper-based systems.
Since you said goodbye to your paper based incident-logging system and began to experience the benefi ts that Fusion-Incident-Vantage provides you can now create incident-logs in real-ti me, view and edit logs independently or as part of a team, fi lter searches and create comprehensive management reports. Simply put, your team is working more effi ciently than it ever has, and you, as manager, are now used to having all the “essenti al CCTV Management
Informati on” at your fi nger-ti ps.
With Fusion-Incident-Select, Meyertech has changed the game again with the introducti on of the world’s fi rst CCTV Management Informati on soft ware to provide KPI fi nancial analysis.
GO GREEN,
When it comes to creati ng and managing evidenti al material,
Fusion-Incident-Select makes the task simple and quick. It starts by creati ng the incident-log in under 30 seconds,
supplement that with a few images from the Gallery and then tag the video clip of the incident. Add to that any supporti ng documents
required, zip, store and email or save to external media – Simple!
Managing “Request to View-Seize” (RTVS) requests is also a straightf orward
operati on. Every ti me a new RTVS is received from external organisati ons Fusion-Incident-Select creates a new record in relati on to the incident. Each record includes full details of the
requester and the recordings reviewed and if any evidence is seized
Fusion-Incident-Select generates a receipt to accompany the released media.
EVIDENTLY SIMPLE
Basically if you don’t measure it you won’t know!
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are an essenti al tool to measure performance and today play an increasingly important role in the management of public space CCTV systems. Fusion-Incident-Select analyses every element of your CCTV operati on, from the number of arrests to the number of RTVS you
have received.
KPI’s provide key system operati onal metrics allowing you to benchmark your CCTV
operati on and identi fy trends at an early stage.
Every Indicator can be ‘tweaked’ in Fusion-Incident-Select enabling any combinati on of fi ltered KPI reports to be produced in graphic enriched reports.
HOW ARE YOU
PERFORMING?
On its own Fusion-Incident-Select excels, but when it is paired with Fusion-Core Video Management Soft ware (VMS) it transforms your CCTV operati ons,
becoming more dynamic, more eff ecti ve and more accurate, automati cally logging every camera the operator selects
throughout the durati on of the incident directly into the incident-log.
From within the Fusion-Core environment users can create new incident-logs
instantly and update the log in real-ti me using the “point-and-click” feature and
“quick text” faciliti es.
“Now that’s Interoperability”.
A Fusion-Incident-Select system consists of two soft ware modules and Microsoft SQL Server.
The fi rst module, FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-WS resides on user workstati ons where users create incident logs in real-ti me. The second module, FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-PMCD or FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-SMCD reside on
primary and secondary management workstati ons. The Microsoft SQL Server database would typically reside on a separate server.
A Fusion-Incident-Select system can support up to sixteen users and four system managers, one primary manager and up to three secondary managers.
Workstati ons that have FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-PMCD or FUSION-INCIDENT-SELECT-SMCD installed are where supervisors and managers review incident reports, search and fi lter incidents, produce KPI accounts, create trend graphs, generate management reports, seize and issue evidenti al CCTV media.
Fusion-Incident-Select soft ware modules are available as separately licensed applicati ons or system license packs, which come with a number of ready to use licences.
If I.T. is not one of your strong points Meyertech can provide a complete Fusion-Incident-Select system for you, out of the box, including hardware with Fusion-Incident-Select and Microsoft SQL Server database soft ware pre-installed, confi gured and tested.
