From Chef Janice:

Thanks to all of you who are supporting our lunch program. Many of you

have filled out comment cards to let us know how much you enjoy the menus

we have been preparing. Your feedback has been invaluable but please don’t

stop filling out those cards. This is a continuing program and Dining Services still needs to hear

from you. You will find sheets at the front entrance of the dining room.

PIF’s, do you know what they are, (Personal Information Sheets)? These sheets are very

important and give us the information that is needed to get our reimbursement from the

fed-eral government program that supports us and our Senior Dining Services. This information is

kept strictly confidential. Please check with me or the front desk when signing in for your

lunch ticket to see if you have completed one. If you are a new member we would like to have

you fill one out as well. This just might get you on the permanent printed list faster.

Soon, we will be replanting the flower and herb garden. Anyone willing to help cultivate

the soil and plant, please contact me in the kitchen. We can all enjoy the flowers and the

herbs will help enhance the meals we prepare.

Finally yet importantly, I need to thank all of you that sent card, letters, and gave

per-sonal condolences for the death of my husband. Without all your support, it would have been

even harder to accept. You are all my family and my friends I need.

Thank you from the bottom of my
