The University may monitor communications but this is always in the context of what is permitted by relevant legislation and University policies.
If there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that an individual is engaging in activities which are in breach of the Regulations … the University … may include direct monitoring of the use made by the user.
If misuse is established, disciplinary action will be taken, referring the matter to the Police in the event of contravention of legislation.
