New boiler and radiators.
From initial contact to installation, the customer service and professionalism shown by Heppelthwaite The Red Van Plumbers has been first class. No-one really wants the upheaval of having a new boiler and radiators installed nor the expense of it all but if you have to go down this route you need to know that you will get a good job at a fair price. A special thanks to Ken who did the installation, he was polite, never tired of our endless questions, many of which he must have heard a thousand times before, his work was faultless and each day he made sure we were updated on progress. An asset to the company.

Boiler problem
Although response to call out was fair - wrong diagnose of boiler problem and failure to test properly - then a bill was received that included work that was not carried out which I queried and after a third attempt (despite this I received a letter threatening legal action)
I finally got an acknowledgement that the invoice was incorrect and a new one will be sent. The new invoice is a bit steep considering very little was done. I certainly would not use this company again.

Complete new heating system, hot and cold water
systems in 100 year old complex property.
Had a leaking 29 year old boiler and ancient pipework systems in a large 100 year old house. Found Hepplethwaite on-line when 5,000 miles away. They are 2 miles from our home of 45 years but we had not heard of them (The wonders of the Internet!). Trusted the reviews and committed to major boiler and system replacements (6 weeks work for 2 men) based on quotations. The firm has traditional ways (some might say quaint in today's world, but positive!), first class engineers and it does what it says it will do. Very comforting to know that firms like this still exist. Very pleased we found them.
