Wednesday 28th September 2016, One America Square, London, from 17.45 part of the Environment Analyst Business Summit 2016 Environment Analyst is proud to announce its 2nd annual conference; the Environment Analyst Business Summit and Awards, taking place on 28th September 2016 in London and aimed specifically at senior level executives, managers and directors working in the environmental consulting and services sector. To round off the conference, we are hosting an early evening networking event, with drinks, canapes and the presentation of Environment Analyst’s Business Excellence Awards. The Awards are designed to recognise and applaud business achievement over the past 18 months in the world of environmental consultancy. The categories are purposely general and applications are likely to reflect one or more of the following elements impacting their business in 2015/16: growth, mergers & acquisitions, service innovation/new practice areas, international business development, individual industry leadership. The awards offer applicants a unique and high profile way to promote their hard work, service innovation, growth and development both externally to clients, investors and the wider consulting world, and internally to staff. Application form The deadline for Award nominations is Monday 18 July 2016. A shortlist of candidates will be announced at least two weeks in advance of the Awards ceremony on 28 September 2016. Nominations are accepted via openended summaries/essays/slide presentation of up to 500 words, together with optional supplementary information (see Awards Criteria below for suggested supplementary info). Awards criteria
All 500 word statements/supplementary information must be backed by appropriate quantitative evidence (which may include tables/charts etc), succinctly presented to demonstrate the criteria: 1. UK SME Business Excellence Award 2016 Open to practices with UK environmental consultancy revenues under £10m, applications should demonstrate criteria such as: a. A story of business growth over the last 18 months or more (in terms of revenues, profits and/or staffing/network expansion with figures to verify) b. Project examples/case studies demonstrating best practice/areas of specialism c. References to innovative business practices in areas such as project management, client service provision, staff recruitment & development, overseas development 2. UK Large Firm Business Excellence Award 2016 Open to UKheadquartered practices environmental consultancy revenues of £10m+, applications should demonstrate criteria such as: a. A story of business growth over the last 18 months or more (in terms of revenues, profits and/or staffing/network expansion with figures to verify) b. Project examples/case studies demonstrating best practice/areas of specialism c. References to innovative business practices in areas such as project management, client service provision, staff recruitment & development, overseas development 3. Business Innovation 2016 Open to UK/international environmental consulting firms, any size, with applications demonstrating innovation in project management, services, HR and/or marketing & business development, supported by case studies, client reviews and evidence of the positive impact it has had on the business. 4. International Firm Business Excellence Award 2016 Open to international practices with environmental consultancy revenues of £50m+, applications should demonstrate criteria such as: a. A story of business growth over the last 18 months or more (in terms of revenues, profits and/or staffing/network expansion with figures to verify) b. Project examples/case studies demonstrating best practice/areas of specialism c. References to innovative business practices in areas such as project management, client service provision, staff recruitment & development, international development 5. Business Manager 2016 Open to individuals to nominate themselves or a colleague applications should demonstrate: a. How they have shown innovation, astute commercial acumen and exceptional leadership b. In a statement of up to 500 words outline the major and distinguished contributions and achievements made by the candidate to the business
particularly over the past 18 months (2015/16) and how these have benefited the company’s performance c. Include references to any broader contributions to the environmental profession d. Include the nominee’s CV and/or link to LinkedIn profile All applicants should be prepared to to be approached by one of the judges for further information. By entering the Awards you are agreeing to the information you send being used in press releases, presentations, on our website and within our publications (BUT if there are parts of the application considered confidential and for the judges eyes only, please mark clearly to this effect). The Awards ceremony will be filmed/photographed and information may be used by our journalists for the content.
