PRIORI Idebenone Peel

Widely used by dermatologists the Priori Idebenone Superceutical Peel is ideal for treating sun damaged and prematurely aged skin, hyper-pigmentation or where a new level of skin rejuvenation is required. Due to the unique combination of AHA and BHA with Idebenone this is also a powerful tool to combat adult acne, especially when blemishes leave behind dark pigment marks on the skin. IPL /Laser permanent hair reduction

Why live with unwanted hair? Lasers and intense pulsed light systems offer a safe, long-term solution to unwanted, excess hair for both men and women. Treatment is suitable for the face and body, is quick and results can be seen after just a few sessions.

How does it work?

Light is absorbed by the melanin (the pigment in the hair follicle). The light energy heats the pigment and effectively destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding cell. The laser or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released, which target many follicles simultaneously. The applicator is then moved to the neighbouring area of the skin and the process is repeated until the entire area is covered.

How does the treatment feel?

Treatment sensation varies but is often described as a ‘flick of an elastic band’. No anaesthetic is required and most clients describe the discomforts as moderate and tolerable.

How does it work?

The Intense Pulse Light System releases short pulses of filtered light that is readily absorbed by the high concentration of melanin found within freckles, sun spots or liver spots. The rapid absorption of light energy heats the melanin and eradicates the melanin-rich cells.

What does treatment feel like?

Treatment is mildly uncomfortable and a warm, tingling sensation not unlike sunburn is experienced afterwards.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation

The IPL system regenerates the skin by heating the cells known as collagen within the skin so to regenerate cells and tissue to improve your complexion, skin texture and tone. The series of treatments increase of the production of collagen over a period of time to increase the elasticity, skin thickness, smoothness, wrinkle reduction and resurfaces the top surface.

IPL Rosacea and Thread vein treatment

Intense Pulsed Light can provide a long term solution to facial problems such as red flushing (rosacea), thread veins and red spots as well as unsightly leg veins, with minimal risk in just a few quick and easy treatments.

How are thread veins treated?

Both Intense Pulse Light and laser systems emit light which is readily absorbed by blood vessels, heating them to point where they are destroyed. Following treatment, the vessels quickly clear as they are reabsorbed by the body, leaving little or no trace of the original lesion.

Treatment is mildly uncomfortable but there is no need for anaesthesia and the procedure is actually quite quick. Sensations vary but most people describe it as a very quick, hot pin prick.

IPL /Laser Pigmentation removal

Pigmented lesions such as age spots or freckles can be successfully lightened or removed with Intense Pulsed Light. Both treatments are non-invasive, suitable for both the face and body and will result in a more even skin tone.

IPL /laser treatment for active acne

IPL or laser treatment kills the acne bacteria that cause the infection leading to spots. The laser light gently heats up the skin around the spots, producing collagen that boosts the healing process causing the spots to disappear.

IPL /laser treatment for acne scarring

Laser light heats up the lower layers of the skin producing collagen that stimulates a healing response. This acts as a new foundation for the skin, reducing scarring and improving skin tone. It is not guaranteed that IPL can ‘remove’ the scar, but it will improve its appearance.

Cancellation policy

We know things come up from time to time which is why as long as you give us more than 24 hours notice we will happily re-schedule your appointment to a time that is convenient for you. A cancellation charge will occur if you give us less than 24 hours notice.

Missed appointments

If you miss your appointment on more than one occasion a missed appointment charge will occur.

Late appointments

If you are running late for your appointment we will try to complete your treatment fully however unfortunately we may have to cut your treatment short by the amount of time you are late.
