Original passport. Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity and have at least 1 visa page.

2 Photographs. Standard passport photographs 2x2 inches on a white background.

Payment. Credit Card Authorization form, Certified Check, or Money Order payable to VisaHQ.com.

Copy of Green Card (both sides) or other proof of legal status in the US (such as copy of I-20, US visa, H1B approval notice, etc. VisaHQ cannot assist US B1/B2 visa holders at this time.)

Itinerary. A confirmed or reservation of the flight itinerary under the traveller's name. Must show flights entering and exiting Egypt.

Itinerary. For multiple entry requests you must submit a copy of your e-ticket or confirmed itinerary showing more than one entry into Egypt.

Employment Letter. Copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. For students, please submit an official letter from your school indicating that you are in good standing and that you are registered for the upcoming semester. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

Letter of Authorization. A completed and signed Letter of Authorization form that enables VisaHQ as an agent to handle your visa application. The letter can be found within the Egyptian visa form.

The Egyptian Consulate may request for additional documents and fees at their discretion for those applying for a Multiple Entry Visa . Please be advised that requests for multiple entry visas that are longer than 3 month validity is also up to the discretion of the Consulate.

1. Duly filled and signed Visa Application Form

2. Two (2) passport size photos (size 2x2), with WHITE background. Person must be facing directly at the camera showing both ears.

3. PASSPORT (valid for 6 months from date of entry to Egypt)

4. FEE: $ 15 per passport for US Citizen in CASH, USPS Money Order or cashier’s check payable to Egyptian Consulate. Other checks or credit cards are not accepted.

For other nationalities, please contact the Consulate for fees and other requirements.

5. For NonAmerican, photocopy of greencard.

6. For Business Visa: a letter from the company stating purpose of the trip and financial guarantee of the company.

APPLICANTS BY MAIL:

Send the above requirements (we need the original passport) with a selfaddressed, prepaid envelope for the return of passport/s. If sending via USPS e.g.

Express Mail, Priority Mail with confirmation, please send proper postage. Do not send metered stamps. Couriers e.g. Airborne, DHL, Fedex with company accounts are acceptable. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT NUMBERS.

The Consulate is not responsible for the return of any document/s or passport/s by mail or any loss, delay or damage that may occur in the mailing of document/s or passport/s.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

x CUSTOMS DECLARATION: There is no limit on the amount of currency which the visitors may bring to Egypt, however, they must declare the currency and amount on Form D upon arrival and departure with bank receipts. If you are carrying Egyptian Currency, it should not exceed 5,000 L.E.

x HEALTH CERTIFICATE: Required only if traveler is coming from an infected area.

x VALIDITY: Tourist visas are valid for 6 months from date of issue. Business visas are valid for 6 months from date of issue.

x WORK: Holders of tourist visas are not allowed to work in Egypt.

x PROCESSING TIME: 5 business days. By mail is 710 working days, excluding mailing time.

x Incomplete requirements will delay the visa process.
