With this design, I used the main color 04 to highlight the squares. Then, I mixed the two multi-shaped blocks, and used two of the opposite colors in each of them. I think it turned out pretty!

For this design, I mixed all the threads up, and broke up the fill in them. The central medallion is again repeated in the 4 cor-ners, but this time I even added a second color to the rectangular blocks.

I had fun with this one! I broke the fill up so that you’d stitch it vertically, but followed along the diago-nal lines. This works best in a large design, and one you want to cover lots of space.
See below for the steps, but you just do one part of the fill at each turn. Want to really pop it, you can even do this as the whole color wheel, or any portion of it. You can make this design as subtle or bold you want, just pick the colors out want to use!

Look at the exampes to the left. In both SCT003 and SCT005-3A, both medallions really show up, as their con-trast is stronger. In SCT004, those colors are more in the same families due to how the thread wheel is laid out, but it gives the fill a more calming effect.
