You must create C:\APPS directory and make it share to Everyone in advance. For installation of Foxpro, please read the following cases.

(7)

under C:\APPS (Copy all files under CD-ROM's Foxprow directory) and create new share for this directory

Case 2

Schools have old SAMS server and will run the version of VFP in new server that same in old server. For this case, The Appendix II (migrate SAMS/CDS File from old server) should be done first and then create new share for this directory

Case 3

Schools have old SAMS server but the version of Visual Foxpro in new server is different to that in old server. For this case, you should run Server-base setup of Visual Foxpro. To do this, logon server from workstation by workstation local administrator and then map F: to C:\APPS from workstation, run Visual Foxpro setup with administrative installation of Visual Foxpro from into F:\VFP.

Case 4

Schools have no old SAMS server. For this case, you should run Server-base setup of Visual Foxpro. To do this, logon server from workstation by workstation local administrator and then map F: to C:\APPS from workstation, run Visual Foxpro setup with administrative installation of Visual Foxpro from into F:\VFP.
