COMPETITOR INFORMATION

GENERAL

COVID-19 - Anyone displaying symptoms of Covid-19 or anyone that has been in contact with someone displaying symptoms in the last ten days must not attend the show. Symptoms include, temperature, persistent cough, loss of taste or smell and taste. PLEASE THINK OF OTHERS AND OBSERVE STRICT SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES – 2M PLUS. Please wear masks where requested.

NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY PRE ENTRIES ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS. Dogs only allowed on leads and preferred if they can stay in the lorry please. If you are staying over then please do not allow your dogs to run loose.

The clubhouse will be open for takeaway food and drinks from the window but competitors/attendees will be unable to sit inside. Toilets at the clubhouse will be open until the show ends and can be entered by the fire escape to the left hand side of the building as you approach from the lorry parking area. The toilets will be checked and sanitized regularly and we ask that if loos are occupied then then please wait outside. Washbasins will be stocked with anti-bacterial soap. You are asked to use hand sanitiser that is available outside the loos prior to entry. Please do not use the loos in the yard areas unless you are staying over at the show.

The secretary will be based in the main secr The loos in the yard are only open to stay over custoetary office. The office will be manned but strictly out of bounds to competitors – please phone 07974 151272 for assistance on the day. All rules regarding classes and dress code will be as per the normal schedule. Please keep to the main car park, warm up areas, clubhouse and competition areas shown on the map. We ask that competitors and assistants/grooms keep to the areas that are open and use the warm up areas as detailed in the signs.

· The car park will be manned from the secretary office. If you have not entered please do not come to the Centre. No exceptions will be made for entries on the day.

· Riders may be accompanied by one other

person/groom, and one additional person for every additional horse that is entered. Children should be supervised at all times.

· No other persons, such as family members or owners are permitted and people within your group must travel in your lorry or towing vehicle. Arrivals in separate cars are not permitted and will be asked to leave. If there are special circumstances requiring a variation on this please telephone Lorraine on 07974 151272. Any cars should be parked in the car park to the left hand side of the clubhouse – no exceptions to park in lorry park.

· For those travelling in lorries please park the middle of your lorry infront of the numbers in the car park. Do not park in unmarked gaps. This leaves the recommended distance between vehicles. ALL TRAILERS please drive down the car park and go through the gate on the left hand side at the bottom and park on the grass area. Do not use overflow car parking unless absolutely necessary or unless advised.

· All tacking up and preparation of horses/ponies must take place within your designated parking area and if possible your box/trailer. DO NOT UNDER ANY

CIRCUMSTANCES LEAVE HORSES/PONIES TIED TO THE LORRY/TRAILER.

· Following a rather upsetting amount of litter and

muck retrieved from our car park and hedge line recently we ask that all competitors poo pick and pick up loose hay from around their lorry and take their litter home or use the bins at the top of the car park. Please do not leave this for us to do later!

COLLECTING RINGS /WARM UP/COOL DOWN

THERE WILL BE A THREE TIER SYSTEM – PLEASE REFER TO PLAN

GRASS PRE WARM UP 1 FOR FLATWORK – Max six riders (no pedestrians). One way system refer to plan please flow into warm up 2 and keep track of collecting ring tannoy to make sure everything runs on time.

MAIN WARM UP – This will be the main surfaced warm up which has now been extended. There will be three warm up jumps (cross pole, oxer, upright). There will be a steward to alter the jumps. Nobody will be allowed on foot and there will be a maximum of six in this arena including the steward. ENTER FROM GRASS PRE WARM UP AS DIRECTED BY COLLECTING RING STEWARD.

THE MAIN ARENA WILL BE ACCESSED UNDER THE ARCHWAY AND YOU MAY BE ASKED TO WAIT HERE FOR IF YOU ARE THE NEXT RIDER TO GO.

PLEASE EXIT THE ARENA FROM THE EXIT NEAREST THE SECRETARY OFFICE TO MAKE SURE THERE IS A ONE WAY SYSTEM IN OPERATION. DO NOT EXIT THE ARENA VIA THE ARCHWAY.

COOL DOWN - 20 X 40 ARENA BY THE CAR PARK – Nobody will be allowed on foot and max six horses and riders.

Do not use the pre warm up more than 30 minutes before your time so that a flow of riders can ensure we run to time.

COMPETITION

Times must be strictly adhered to and competitors compete in order of allocated times.

· There will be a course walk before each class. Only competitors are allowed to walk the course. No children on the arena or walking the course unless competing. Please walk the course as quickly as possible and observe a distance of 1m plus from others at all times.

· One competitor to be in the ring at any one time to jump. · Unless competing other horses competitors should load up as

soon as they have finished and leave the venue. If you wish to purchase takeaway food or drinks beforehand then please do so. · No prize-giving will take place, results will be posted online. · Rosettes will be available from the secretary window or SAE or

sending us an SAE.

· Prize money will be sent via online bank transfer. Please allow up to ten working days

equestrian sports. Anyone found not to be adhering may be asked to leave the site. Thank you for your co-operation.

STAYING OVER

For those staying over:

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE MUCK AT END OF STABLE BLOCKS – PLEASE USE THE MUCK HEAP WITHIN CONCRETE WALLS THAT IS MARKED ON MAP.

Please park within the attached bays and if you are using hook up please make sure you use the top section of car park on the left hand side as marked on the plan.

Do not gather with other groups outside the group you are travelling with. Please observe social distancing rules.

The secretary will be based in the main secretary office. The office will be

manned but strictly out of bounds to competitors – please phone 07974 151272

if you require haylage or shavings.

Do not drive you vehicles into the stable areas. No BBQ’s allowed.

Unfortunately the clubhouse will be closed in the evenings.

Please keep your dogs on leads at all times and where possible in the lorry/vehicle. Please bag poo and put in the bins.

Please use the hand sanitising points and observe social distancing rules at all times.

Please sanitise hands before using the outside taps.

There will be no lights in the temporary stables. There are signed lights in the perms.

Showers will be open and please use hand sanitiser when entering. Showers will be checked but please spray down with anti bac

provided in shower and swill down on leaving. Please do not take or borrow our anti bac spray!
