1. Com ply with requirem ents of m anufacturer's published instructions for ventil ation and safet y procedures. Installation and application of m aterials, including com patibilit y and dr ying/curing tim es shall be coordinated to effect com patible quality installation. 2. Material Qualifications

a. Unless otherwise specified herein, insulation, jackets, facings and adhes ives used to adhere jacket or facing to insulation, including fitting insulation and butt strips, shall have com posite noncom bustible f ire and sm oke hazard system rating and label as tested b y ASTM E84, NFPA 255 and UL 723 not exc eeding Flam e Spread 25, Fu el Contributed 50, Sm oke Developed 50. Accessories such as adhesives, m astics, cem ents, tapes, cloth, and finishes shall have sam e ratings. Each product or its shipping carton shall bear Underwriters label indicating f lam e and sm oke ratings do not exceed above criteria.

b. Materials of like kind shall be furnished b y single m anufacturer.
