Charities Can Win Additional Prize Money through the Delaware Charity Challenge  In addition to the money the charities raise from their teams, charities can win additional awards  from the Delaware Charity Challenge prize pool. The prize pool will be generated from a portion of  the race registrations and race sponsorships. For the fundraising challenge (January 1, 2015 to  May 1, 2015), the top three charities that raise the most money will win 60% of the prize pool. The  remaining money from the prize pool will be distributed among the charities of the teams that win  the various races at the Delaware Charity Challenge.     Events at the Delaware Charity Challenge  On Saturday, May 2, 2015, there will be several races that morning. Particularly, there will be a  competitive women's team 5K race, a competitive men's team 5K race, a competitive co‐ed team  5K race, and a fun 5K run/walk. There will also be an event called the Adventure Challenge Relay  race, where a team of at least five members will compete in multiple events, including mountain  biking, running, canoeing, ziplining, and a puzzle challenge. The winning team of each of these  races will win the remaining 40% of the prize pool.    Team Size  For teams to score in the competitive team races (Men's 5K Team Race, Women's 5K Team Race,  Co‐ed 5K Team Race), they need at least four members and at most seven members. There is no  cap to team size in the Fun 5K Team Run/Walk, although if you have multiple charities you would  like to raise money for, you may want to consider splitting larger teams into smaller ones. Each  team can only designate one beneficiary.     Registration & Registration Cost  Teams can register online and the person registering the team will be defaulted as team captain.  The rest of the team members will also need to individually complete the registration process  because each person must sign the waiver form to complete registration for whatever race you  are competing in. For the Adventure Challenge Relay, team members who compete in the canoe  and zipline portions of the challenge will need to sign separate waivers the day of the race.    Your registration payment covers your race registration cost, cotton race t‐shirt, and parking for  up to three cars at Lums Pond on Saturday, May 2, 2015. We strongly encourage teams to carpool  that morning.    Additional Information
