VIRTUALISATION
The act of creating a virtual (rather than actual) version of something. This can apply to various things such as a virtual hardware platform, operating system (OS), storage device, or network resources.
RESOURCE POOLING
The provider's computing resources are pooled to serve multiple consumers, with different physical and virtual resources dynamically assigned and reassigned according to consumer demand.
PUBLIC CLOUD
Public cloud applications, storage, and other resources are made available to the general public by a service provider.
PRIVATE CLOUD
Private cloud is cloud infrastructure operated solely for a single organisation, whether managed internally or by a third-party and hosted internally or externally.
HYBRID CLOUD
A composition of two or more clouds (private, community or public) that remain unique entities but are bound together, offering the benefits of multiple deployment models.
CLOUD BROKERAGE
An entity that creates and maintains relationships with multiple cloud service providers. It acts as a liaison between cloud services customers and cloud service providers, selecting the best provider for each customer and monitoring the services.
