RSA SecurID TOKEN User Guide

for Initial Setup and Use

Secure Access to Andes Petroleum E-mail from Internet

This guide applies, if you’ve assigned a RSA SecureID TOKEN. For more information or support, please call at Service Center 1700

GLOSSARY

Before of begin to read this User Guide is important that you understand the meaning of the next words that you will find in this User Guide:

TOKEN: It’s the device assigned to you (Look at Pic. 1)

PIN Code: It’s a password that has between 4 and 8 characters alphanumeric that is selected by you. TOKEN Number: They’re the 6 numbers that generate automatic on your RSA SecurID TOKEN screen, and that

they change every 1 minute.

PASSCODE: It’s a compose password by your PIN Code + TOKEN Number (without spaces between them).

Windows Password: It’s your usual username that you use to login at the Andes Petroleum Network from your office’s computer.

Windows Username: It’s your usual password that you use to login at the Andes Petroleum Network from your office’s computer.

1. About RSA SecurID

TOKEN

The RSA SecurID TOKEN give us additional security when we access to Andes Petroleum E-mail from Internet. This device is essential for you to be able to access to Andes Petroleum E-mail, from outside of the office.

2. How does It work?

Your TOKEN generates a random sequence of 6 numbers every 60 seconds. When a new number is generated, 6 bars groups appear in the screen’s left side. Each 10 seconds, a bar will disappear until that all bars disappear. A new 6 number’s group will generate and 6 bars groups will appear in the screen’s left side. This cycle that it repeats continual ensures that your type for 6 different numbers, with a PIN Code that you configure on the Web Access Portal that you can check in this User Guide.

3. Initial Settings

The first step to use your TOKEN is set it up. This setup you must do it once and you set a PIN Code and this is done only online in

https://access.andespetro.com. Your PIN Code plus TOKEN Number is the Passcode. Your Passcode is required every time you login to Andes Petroleum Network in

https://access.andespetro.com.

Follow these stepts to configure your PIN Code for the first time:

1. Start your Internet browser and access

to https://access.andespetro.com. (Look at Pic. 2)

2. Enter your Windows Username (ex: jsmith) on the Username box (Look at Pic. 2).

3. In the Passcode box, enter only your TOKEN number because your PIN code has not yet been created.

4. Then Click on Login to go to the Set Password PIN Code.

5. Enter your PIN Code, (it must to be between 4 and 8 characters alphanumeric) (Look At Pic. 3) and click on Continue.

6. Re-enter your PIN Code to confirm if the code that you entered is the same entered before. (Look at Pic. 4), and clic on

continue.

Now, your PIN Code has been created successfully, then;

7. Enter your Passcode (Please remember it PIN Code+TOKEN Number without spaces between them) and click on

Continue (Look at Pic. 5).

Automatically, it returns to the first screen (Look at Pic. 2), then:

4. E-mail Access

NOTE: If even you haven’t created your PIN CODE, please refer at 3 Initial Settings before continue.

1. Enter your Windows Username (ex: jsmith) on the Username box (Look at Pic. 2).

2. Enter your Passcode on the Passcode box. Remember it, this time and on the future LOGINS, type your PIN Code followed and without spaces the TOKEN Number (Look at Pic. 2) and click on Login to complete.

3. Then you will be required for authentic on the Andes Petroleum E-mail Server which you will login using your Network

Username and Password (Look at Pic. 6). Like this please notice that a pop-up will appear, which you must LOG OFF on

the X icon

If you type right your credentials, you will be able to inside at E-mail

5. Using Outlook Web Access

Outlook Web Access is your E-mail presented on an internet browser instead of Microsoft Outlook Software. When you use the Internet browser, some characteristics of Microsoft Outlook will not be available, for example, your personal folders (PST) stored on your Hard Drive or Drive H will not be approachable into Outlook Web Access (Look at Pic. 7)

NEW: To create a new object of the selected type (Mail, Contact, Task, or Calendar)

FOLDER: Outlook list the Inbox default, and you can select other fólder that you’ve created.

PREVIEW: You can look the preview message content.

LOG OFF: To Outlook LOG OFF on an external office PC with Internet

5. LOG OFF Outlook Web Access

It's important to us that we finish our Outlook Web Access, log off, because if we don't log off other people might not be able to log in or they can check our information.

Once you Log off from the mail server it is necessary to log off from de Andes Petroleum Network, for this clik on the X icon that appears on the pop-up window Labeled "Websites" (Look at Pic 8).

6. RSA SecurID TOKEN Help and Support

¿What must I do if I forgot my PIN Code?

If you forgot your PIN Code, please call at Service Center (593) 2-2988-500 ext. 1700 or send an e-mail to

1700@andespetro.com to deactivate your TOKEN. You will need refer at 3 Initial Settings of this User Guide and follow it the instructions for create a new PIN Code.

¿What must I do if I lost TOKEN?

Please call at Service Center (593) 2-2988-500 ext. 1700 or send an e-mail to 1700@andespetro.com. We can give you a new TOKEN and/or if in case of emergency we can give you temporally access without a TOKEN.

I tried to Login, but, I wrong login three times and now mi account is blocked ¿What must I do?

Please call at Service Center (593) 2-2988-500 ext. 1700 or send an e-mail to 1700@andespetro.com to unlock your account.

¿Are there training or additional documentation?

Yes, there are. Please call at Service Center (593) 2-2988-500 ext. 1700 or send an e-mail to 1700@andespetro.com

and make a request.

Generals Cautions

• Never give your PIN Code and/or TOKEN to anybody.

• If your PIN Code is compromised of some way or your TOKEN is stolen or lose, please report it immediately.

• Take a strong PIN Code (We recommend 6-8 characters, between letters and numbers)

• Never leave your TOKEN with your laptop or PC. If your TOKEN isn’t with you, insure that it is in a safely place, is recommendable always carry with you for ex: in your car keys. The TOKEN is resistant, but no unbreak. Please, MAKE SURE IT – You will be responsible of the cost of reposition.
