Measuring Our Progress

We use broad institutional indicators as benchmarks to assess our SL progress, including

The Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE): helps community colleges discover why some entering students persist and succeed and others do not.”

The Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE): is a well-established tool that helps JCC focus on good educational practice and identify areas in which the College can improve programs and services for students.

Noel Levitz Student Satisfaction Survey: The Student Satisfaction Inventory gives you a powerful tool to improve the quality of student life and learning. It measures student satisfaction and priorities, showing you how satisfied students are as well as what issues are important to them.

The National Community College Benchmark Project: Allows JCC to evaluate and compare its performance against other project participants. The NCCBP establishes targets for world-class performance and identifies best practice performance.
