WORKS IN PROGRESS

Bringing Pecha Kucha into the Legal Research Classroom, a short article documenting

the use of the popular presentation format of 20 slides/20 seconds each to create a more

dynamic learning environment.

Am exploring the possibility of an article examining the crime of passion defense

(mainly used by males) versus the (primarily female) defense of battered spouse

syndrome. In light of data may consider the upsurge in U.S. of “honor killings” which,

while not as recognized as “crime of passion,” have an unsettling similarity in their

reasoning and possibly in their outcomes on behalf of the murderer.

UNPUBLISHED TEACHING MATERIALS

Women and the Law: A Selected Annotated Bibliography of Legal Monographs –used in classes at Mississippi College School of Law and Wake Forest Law School; cataloged in the Mississippi College School of Law Library; updated summer 2010.
