This document outlines the benefits for Taxi Operators in accessing this BP Plus offer tailored to the Taxi Industry.
The Key Benefits of the offer are;
Discounts - Up to 5.8 cents per litre off the pump price. Network - Over 350 sites across QLD & Northern NSW.
High level of card security - Transaction and volume limits, electronically processed transactions and signature panel and/or selectable PIN numbers.
Care+ security offer - Aims to minimise preventable costs to your business. Care+ is managed by a team of card security experts, the Care+ Team, and features two key components; Care+ detection and Care+ assistance.
Fuel consumption by vehicle - Ability to collect odometer readings to measure fuel consumption and cost per km for fuel.
Single Weekly Invoice - A Fleet Control Report which consolidates all transactions and vehicles into a single weekly GST and ATO compliant tax invoice, eliminating the need to keep individual receipts.
Comprehensive reporting Available through BP Plus online at no additional cost - Itemised details at transaction level and a summary of expenditure per card or cost center, on a monthly and year-to-date basis. Additional reporting on an adhoc, weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
BP Plus Online - Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week , the BP Plus website makes running your fleet easy. Card ordering, replacement and cancellation, account maintenance (updates to address, phone number and contact information) and the ability to view account balances on line.
Short Term Offer
If you’re application is received before the 30th of November 2013 and subsequently approved, additional benefits and discounts will be applicable.
When these additional discounts and zero card fees until 2015 are combined with the Taxi Council Queensland offer you could save up to 7.8 cents per litre for the first six months. Ongoing discounts of up to 5.8 cents per litre. Total discounts are estimated to save you up to $1,000 for an LPG vehicle and $740 for Hybrid vehicle in the first year.
* Savings based on purchasing at undiscounted BP pump price, with annual fuel usage of 22,770 LPG and 10,500 motor spirit, exclusively using additional discount sites with zero card fees. Savings after this time estimated to be $979 LPG vehicles and $609 for Hybrid vehicles. Actual savings will depend on fuel and site usage.

BP Plus Online is a quick and easy way to manage your fleet. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at no additional cost, the BP Plus website makes it easier to run or download a full range of reports and summaries to help with Business Activity Statements (BAS) and improve fleet management.

+ Instantly cancel cards that have been lost or stolen + Produce reports to assist with your fleet management

BP Plus Card and Account Security
Care+ Team
BP’s Care+ Team is dedicated to your BP Plus card security. The team was established to manage Care+ for our customers through detecting suspicious transactions and proactively informing customers, as well as work with our customers to establish the best security practices for their business. The Care+ Team is made up of experienced card security experts and analysts who are only a phone call away.
Care+ detection
The Care+ Team pass all BP Plus card transactions through a number of specially developed reporting tools designed to highlight suspicious transactions. These tools are based on BP’s lengthy experience with the BP Plus card and will be continually improved by the Care+ Team. Where a transaction is found to be suspicious, the Care+ Team will contact you and take the appropriate action.
Care+ assistance
The Care+ Team are here to assist you understand the options available to you and enhance appropriate security on your account. When you contact the Care+ Team, they will:
+ ask questions to understand how your business uses your cards + recommend use of features that will enhance your security
BP Plus Security
Vehicle specific cards track all transactions and purchases against the vehicle – these cards must have a PIN as the security option, with an option for signature.
Driver specific cards track all purchases and transactions for the person named on the card. These cards can have a PIN or signature as the security option.
You can also add security features such as vehicle descriptions, authorisation numbers and odometer readings.
Purchase restrictions & Exception reporting
BP Plus has the ability to be set up with additional controls to prevent a transaction (Hard Limit) or inform you when a Transaction has occurred via exception reporting (Velocity control).
Hard Limits - A Hard Limit prevents a transaction from occurring at the point of sale i.e. when the driver goes to use the BP Plus card the transaction is declined.
Velocity Controls - When combined with Exception Reporting, Velocity Control produces a report emailed daily which shows you which card has exceeded the set limit.
The Following limits can be applied to each individual card as Velocity and/or Hard Limits. It is recommended that these are used on all Taxi Operator accounts. For instance, you might set a Velocity limit of 3 transactions in a day (included in your daily exception reporting) and a hard limit of 4 transaction in a day (all subsequent transaction would be declined).

PIN Security
PIN security is recommended to provide an extra level of security, and is also required for use at unmanned pumps.
BP Plus card PINs can now be changed using BP Plus Online and you can set up your entire fleet with PINs that you choose and are able to maintain online.
Odometer Readings
The ability to capture odometers is an optional feature which can assist in reporting controls for each vehicle. If you select odometer capture, the system will prompt for the odometer reading at each transaction.
Cost Centres
Cost Centres can be applied to all BP Plus cards to assist with the allocation of expenses and reporting. Card Control Options
With BP Plus we aim to simplify the management of your fleet. Our flexible card options let you build a solution around the needs of drivers and your business. You can set controls on each card to manage purchases and usage.
You can also limit your BP Plus cards to different purchase options, such as LPG, Motor spirit, Diesel and non-fuel options.
The purchase options you choose for non-fuel items will display as an icon on the back of your BP Plus card. Some of the non-fuel purchase options are:

Comprehensive Reporting
Online Reporting
BP Plus Online offers reporting options that help you manage your fleet effectively. The imaged reports section allows you to access your hard copy reports for the past 18 months - a useful tool in completing Business Activity Statements or as a reference in the future.
Export Transaction Files let you receive your transactional information in an easy to manipulate format that can be a one-off report or automatically sent to you on a regular basis.
The customised reports available are:
+ Fleet Control Report - Your monthly transaction report, can be run for a month at a time or a data range
up to 18 months previously
+ Cost Centre Summarydetails the totals in the cost centre for specified periods
+ Vehicle Analysis Reportdetails card usage for the card selected for a given month
+ Litres/100km provides details on fuel consumed per 100kms travelled based on the odometer records
and card-based fuel sales for that vehicle
+ Odometer Audit lists odometer readings for vehicles within the account as at a specified date

If you need more detailed analysis, you can easily create flexible reports on BP Plus Online. The reports available are:
BP Fuel Guarantee
BP’s customers demand consistent product quality. That’s why BP guarantees that its fuels are fit for purpose and will not cause fuel system problems.
The BP Fuel Guarantee applies to all BP-branded diesel, motor spirit and Autogas (LPG) purchased from BP-branded service stations painted in BP colours and where the BP Helios is prominently displayed.
Pricing
As a BP Plus customer you will be entitled to competitive pricing across the BP retail network.
Taxi Council Queensland Members will receive the following pricing on the products listed below when fuelling with BP Plus based on 7 days payment of a weekly invoice. There are currently 99 sites In Queensland where the additional discount applies
*BP Autogas discounts are not available at locations where BP does not supply LPG. A full list of locations where BP does supply Autogas are listed at the back of this document. All discounts are off Pump price based on 7 day weekly trading terms and inclusive of GST. Sites in the additional Site lsit will vary from time to time.
Monthly card fee
With BP Plus there are no joining or account fees unlike other offers in the marketplace. BP has a flat Monthly Card Fee of $2.20 per card per month.
Payment Terms and Flexible Payment Options
Fleet Control Report: Can be run singularly or for a 6 month period. Active Card Listing: Details all the active cards on your account.
Vehicle Analysis Report: Details card usage for the card selected for a given month.
Odometer Audit: Lists odometer readings for vehicles within the account as at a specified date. Cost Centre Summary: Details the total for each cost centre for specified period.

Payment terms in the offer to Taxi Council payment terms are 7 days from a weekly invoice (also referred to as a Fleet Control Report (FCR)). Payments are made via direct debit from your nominated bank account, giving you a simple method to make payment.
From December 2013, an option to pay Direct Debit by Credit Card will be in place allowing account holders to receive reward points and extended credit terms (subject to individual Credit card Terms and Conditions).
Shortcut to savings
To support the launch of this agreement, BP is pleased to extend our “Shortcut to Savings” promotion to Taxi Council Members. This campaign runs until 30th Nov 2013 and offers approved applicants who apply prior to 30th November 2013 2 cents per litre off* at all BP sites for the first 6 months AND have their monthly card fees waived
until 2015^. *Excludes Autogas & AdBlue. ^Standard late fees, interest & dishonour fees & other charges apply.
Applications
Taxi Council Queensland Members apply online at www.bpplus.com.au. To ensure that your application is linked to with the Taxi Council Queensland Agreement please enter “TAXIQLD” in the promo field of the application. Each member application will be verified against the member list of the Taxi Council Queensland.
Applying members will sign BP’s Standard Terms and Conditions upon application and proceed through the usual application process including review by the BP credit department. Once the application process is complete, the Taxi Council Queensland member’s BP Plus account is assigned the agreed discount and reporting structure as outlined in this letter of offer.
