Since their establishment in 2003, WELLIS products have found steadily increasing popularity throughout Europe as more people change to a healthier lifestyle and demand high quality personal wellness equipment in their homes and gardens.

You may be surprised to learn that the renowned WELLIS range of “whirlpool” baths and garden Spas are produced in Hungary, Europe. From early beginnings as a straightforward import/export business, WELLIS has quickly realised the increasing consumer demand for high quality products, not always available from current suppliers.

WELLIS have recently undertaken a multi-million euro investment to complete the construction of a green field high technology manufacturing facility near Budapest in Hungary. With co-operation from their European partners WELLIS have designed and implemented a 7,000 sq m production unit that includes several lines incorporating ABB robots.

This new facility gives WELLIS the freedom to design and develop cutting edge technologies and produce ecologically sound and extremely high quality home wellness products. The facility opened in 2010 and is already producing their unique massage baths as well as a brand new range of garden Spas.

Automated manufacturing incorporating ABB Robots has increased our efficiency and allows us to pre-plan and automate every tiny detail of the production process. This guarantees absolute consistency and quality control of each finished Spa as well as reducing our production costs – a saving that we pass on to our customers.

This pioneering system has transformed the way spas are made and has established WELLIS as an outstanding regional and international manufacturing company.

We have developed what has traditionally been an industry dominated by manual production using hand held tools to another level - producing products built with manufacturing tolerances of less than one tenth of a millimetre. Automation has led to other

innovations in design as well. Lucite® with Microban®

Lucite® Sanitary Ware was the first acrylic sheet to incorporate Microban® antibacterial protection during the casting process, ensuring that this performance feature runs right through the product. Lucite® with Microban® is safe and effective in reducing the growth of bacteria, exists for the lifetime of the bathtub and cannot be cleaned away.

The antibacterial protection comes in addition to the other excellent performance characteristics of Lucite® cast acrylic.

Highly effective sound insulation, probably the quietest massage baths and Spas available – Take a bath or a spa whenever it pleases you and it won’t annoy the neighbours! Highly effective heat insulation – which means a longer time relaxing in the bath without having to top it up with hot water, and reduced electricity costs for your garden spa.

Ecologically sound product, easily degradable, (unlike fibreglass it does not give off any hazardous styrol gas). Thus it is not classes as hazardous and meets all relevant EU standards.

Colours can evoke many beneficial sensations in us - which have a significant positive impact on our physical wellbeing.

The rainbow of colours in the natural spectrum each have a different influence, a fact that was recognized by the ancient Egyptians.

More recently much scientific research has been carried out to identify particular beneficial effects of each part of the colour spectrum.

The application of this knowledge is now known as Chromotherapy and is widely used for helping with relaxation, de- stressing and mood enhancement.

In our Spas we call this mood lighting. Our exclusive system is based upon lights of four different colours: green, yellow, blue and red. Our spas are designed, not just to look beautiful, but also to exceed all the norms for high quality hydro massage and ergonomics.

We work with office seating experts and therapists from several fields to arrive at the optimal shape for our spa seats. Water filtration, ozone generator

WELLIS multi-level filtering and water cleaning system

is designed to provide exceptionally high quality crystal clear spa water.

Our multi-level filtering and water cleaning system was designed to provide clear, safe spa water, free of all contaminants.

While you relax, body oils and other contaminants are removed by large capacity cartridge filters that ensure 100% filtration of the water many times each day. For simple system maintenance filters can be easily taken out and replaced.

Our spa water filter uses a Microban filter media to pre-vent microbial growth.

Sanitization with ozone

Ozone is a natural gas found in the atmosphere and simply consists of 3 oxygen atoms. Our Wellzone® technology injects ozone into the plumbing system where it is pre-mixed with circulating water, this neutralizes any bacteria, viruses and other contaminates. The ozone then rapidly degrades into normal oxygen.

Excellent triple insulation

Effective insulation is extremely important for hot tubs in order to reduce running costs to a minimum. The triple “Reflective Thermal Barrier” (RTB) insulation of WELLIS spas utilizes thermal gains from the spa’s equipment, collecting any waste heat energy and reflecting it back into the plumbing and shell, whilst keeping out the colder outer air. We’ve even built our RTB system into our Thermal Spa covers which also have a special reflective foil coating beneath them to bounce rising heat back into the spa water.

This integrated energy management system means WELLIS Spas are exceptionally economical to own. Many spa manufacturers still use discredited spray foam insulation whilst, a few still mount the spa equipment, actually outside the spa cabinet, beneath the steps.

These old legacy systems are both outdated as well as expensive to run and damaging to our environment.

LAING circulation pump

The LAING circulation pump is a very low power consumption (110W/h) device which is available for the most of our hot tubs as standard.

The low power consumption (40% lower energy costs than a typical circulation pump) long-life and almost silent running make this a very “green” and cost effective option to consider.

Hot air blower

A hot-air bubble bath has extra comfort compared to standard air blower. The warm air bubbles gently massage the skin, combined with nice bubble effect. A hot-air bubble bath’s other great advantage is that slows the cooling of water.

Reinforced molded ABS floor

The insulated one piece molded floor pan forms the foundation upon which we build our spas. The pan sides extend upwards and form a, moisture and insect proof barrier to protect the spas structure from the detrimental effects of damp ground.

Our reflective barrier insulation system extends across the floorpan to prevent valuable waste heat being drawn through the base by the “cold sink effect” that is created by damp ground.

Shell Supports

Even weight distribution is important to prevent stress damage as the spa ages. We ensure longevity of our spas by using non-organic pillars beneath the seat areas as part of an integrated support system that cannot deteriorate over time.

The I.S.I.S. system

THE EASIEST WAY TO kEEP YOUR SPA CLEAN.

First, add Tru Blu – Sodium Bromide to your spa water. You do this once during the initial start-up process.

The Sodium Bromide circulates through the spa’s system.

The Bromine sanitizes the spa’s water then reverts back to Sodium Bromide, completing

the perpetual cycle. The dissolved Sodium Bromide

makes contact with the ISIS electrode, converting Sodium Bromide into Bromine.
