A 360° View on Your Packaging Line
In Food production, the challenge is to produce products in time, with the right quality, in line with applicable norms and regulations and at the lowest cost. In other words: Operational Excellence. In order to be able to do this, a clear 360° View on the processing and packaging line is required. Sartorius ProControl@Enterprise or short SPC@Enterprise, statistical process control software, provides you with this view and allows you to secureProduct Quality, Consumer Safety and Equipment Effectiveness.
SPC@Enterprise, offers configurable interfaces allowing you to record data from a wide variety of machines, equipment and sensors in your packaging line, regardless of manu-facturer and model. SPC@Enterprise transforms this data into information via powerful and comprehensive reporting functionalities, allowing you to react instantly if and when required. Flexible data exchanges with ERP or MES systems are possible via secure web-based interfaces.
SPC@Enterprise features secure storage and backup of all data logged utilizing an MS SQL database. The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) enables easy and secure user management.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness
SPC@Enterprise supports you in secur-ing and improvsecur-ing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Based on the infor-mation SPC@Enterprise provides, you will be able to minimize loading times, down times and scrap and will be able to detect where you have the biggest potential for improving your output. SPC@Enterprise features the following OEE functionality:> Provides an overview on machine per-formance, giving you the possibility to utilize hidden capacities and achieve higher productivity.
> Displays where you have unnecessary bottle necks and hidden losses. > Provides an overview on
non-produc-tive times: machine set-up, mainte-nance, stand still, break-down etc. > Automatic collection of machine data.
Important information on break down causes, can be manually entered by the operator.
Product Quality
SPC@Enterprise supports you in se curing Product Quality through the provision of the following functionalities: > Average weight control according
to prepackage legislation. > Avoidance of expensive overfill. > Monitoring of defined CCPs according
to your HACCP plan and in compli-ance with IFS, BRC, ISO 22000 and other food safety standards. > Recording of product attributes,
(product weight, minimum shelf life, sealing, etc.), with the possibility of media integration (photo’s, video’s) > Recording of ambient attributes (CIP
performed, adjustment of optimal pa-rameters before a production run etc.). > Logging of any critical process

Quality
The company Dansensor is a world leader in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP). They provide quality control and assurance solutions for food companies that package their products in protective gas atmospheres. These solutions help to optimize and quality-assure packaging processes and reduce costs.
The packaging of food products in modified atmospheres is a Critical Control Point (CCP) in the production line. All relating and relevant production parameters therefore need to be captured and documented. This is a vital part of the 360° View on Your Packaging Line. Within SPC@Enterprise, we offer the possibility of automatic data capture from the instruments as mentioned below and transform this data via powerful and comprehensive reporting functionalities into easy to understand reports.

Sartorius has over 40 years of experience in designing, producing and installing in-line checkweighers for packaged food products. Ever since we introduced the first model into the market in 1969, we have built checkweighers with a focus on: reliability, quality, performance and accuracy. This is reflected in:

Combination Systems
Combination systems fuse together our SYNUS® or EWK 3000 checkweighing systems with our Vistus® metal detector. The Sartorius Combination System offers you the following benefits:
