Self Service is a Legacy Application and may not work correctly when used with the Windows 7 Virtual Store feature. The workaround is detailed below :-When installation is complete, you will need to set the program to run in compatibility mode BEFORE STARTING THE APPLICATION FOR THE 1stTIME.
Find installation folder for Self Service software
(on a 64-bit system this will be c:\Program Files (x86)\SelfService\exe) (on a 32-bit system this will be c:\Program Files\SelfService\exe) Find the file “Self.exe”
Right-click on the file and select Properties
From this screen click Compatibility tab (see opposite), then tick the box that says “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
From the drop down box choose Windows XP (Service Pack 2) Then tick the box to Run this program as an administrator Then change settings for all users so they are the same as above Once these settings are done, Self Service will now work with Windows7. You can now start the Self Service software – please ensure Serial Port selection and System Configuration options are correct in the Self Service software itself, this will need to be done before they can download data to the PC from the red manager key
If you do not perform the above then the Self Service database will be copied to the location - C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SelfService and will only be accessible by the user who installed the application.
The MCPro application will not work by default with the database held in this location. Under Windows 7, the Self Comm process may not display the Key Serial Number...

The pump relay will now energise. Operate the pump nozzle switch to start the pump running.
Dispense into a 20 litre Weights & Measures approved vessel at FULL FLOW !
If you do not have available a W&M approved vessel then dispense into a vessel of a known accurate quantity. The vessel must have at least a 20 litre capacity.
If the diesel starts frothing in the vessel then allow to stand for a few seconds, but the pump must be left running and the nozzle must always be opened fully and not trickle fill the vessel. Should the pump turn off during this standing time, re-adjust the pump time out setting in the configuration and repeat the calibration from scratch.
When the correct level in the vessel has been achieved press
Use the arrows to set the actual dispensing and the displayed dispensing to match.
Press when finished to store the new calibration
Note : When in calibration mode the meter will by default read more than what is being dispensed. You must complete the entire process otherwise calibration will be lost
** For engineer use ONLY ** Use dispensing based calibration only

PIUSI Panther 72 Pump – Oriented Electric Box
RED TEXT
Take special note here
230v - 4.2A - 0.6bar suction - Vane Type Pump
Checking the filter
Note the position of the filter element with the ends pointing towards the flow of diesel to prevent any particles getting past.
Checking the vanes & bypass valve
When removing the cover plate to check the vanes, ensure that care is taken not to disturb the “o-ring” as this swells with diesel and will be impossible to re-fit. The vanes should all be smooth with a chamfered edge as shown in the photo.
If a vane has become broken it is highly probable that a part of this broken vane has become lodged inside the bypass valve which is located above the rotor, inline with the inlet and outlet. To inspect bypass valve remove both inlet and outlet connections. Using a flat screwdriver depress the valve from the OUTLET and spray some cleaner to clear any broken bits of vane from the seal. Vanes usually break when the pump has been run dry, they are consumable items like the tyres on your car.
Leaking shaft seal
The hole shown in the image opposite indicates that the seal between the motor and the pump head is damaged.
The shaft seal is usually damaged by running the pump in a bypass condition for too long a period. The pump should only be run in a bypass condition for 2-3mins max. Check that the hose used on the delivery side is of a soft-wall 10bar construction which absorbs any hydraulic shock from damaging the shaft seal.
Switch arm alignment & wiring check
The electrical box on the Cube Panther pump has a special arm mounting point that connects the nozzle on/off switch to the rocker switch on the pump. If the switch does not operate correctly, check the alignment/geometry of the mounting bracket and guide wheel for the switch.
Nozzle contact jumper •The old style MC Panel Has the nozzle contact Jumper inside the Panel Located on the circuit board.
Manual Override
Remove the cover of the MC panel to reveal the internal circuit board. Located at the top of the board is a small 3 position jumper that overrides the MC electronics for use if the system suffers a electronic failure. Isolate the power before changing the jumper switch.
