SLEEK MASTER (4) was trialling following an endorsement for Unsatisfactory Performance at Wentworth Park on 16/4/16, and it trialled to satisfaction of stewards.

ON TILT (6) was vetted after shortening stride over the concluding stages.

WINNER FANTASTIC BEAR (5)

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

MARBLE GEM (8) was slow out, with CYANIDE (4) drifting back to join it at the rear approaching the first turn. CYANIDE (4) and MARBLE GEM (8) tracked wide down the home straight on the first occasion.

WINNER YOU GOT RIVERED (5)

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

BULLSEYE (10) was slow out. YOU GOT RIVERED (5) shifted out at the start and then became hampered when GOTTA BE BLACK (7) and DYNAMITE MOUSE (9) came across. YOU GOT RIVERED (5) got a saloon run through at the first turn after PAYOTE (1) had raced erratically in the lead and caused VINTAGE ROX (3) and BLUE PIRATE (4) to be hampered, whilst also making head/muzzle contact with VINTAGE ROX (3). GOTTA BE BLACK (7) and DYNAMITE MOUSE (9) tracked wide around the first turn. PAYOTE (1) yielded ground down the back, causing JORDICOR (2) to be checked. PAYOTE (1) then galloped on heels of BLUE PIRATE (4) when turning out of the back, resulting in PAYOTE (1) falling and in doing so it caused significant interference to JORDICOR (2) and DYNAMITE MOUSE (9), after which DYNAMITE MOUSE (9) also fell. PAYOTE (1) was vetted.

JORDICOR (2) was vetted. No incapacitation period imposed.

DYNAMITE MOUSE (9) was vetted. No incapacitation period imposed.

PAYOTE (1) was issued with an endorsement for Marring (1st offence) in accordance with Rule 69, requiring it to undertake a clearance trial prior to racing again + 28 day suspension from racing at Wentworth Park.

WINNER PIPPA PEPPER (3)

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

COREY’S MAGIC (1), HE’S SOME LOVE (2) and PIPPA PEPPER (3) were out well. SOVEREIGN QUEEN (5) and MONEY MAYWEATHER (6) were squeezed out to the rear soon after the start. HE’S SOME LOVE (2) got across heels of PIPPA PEPPER (3) nearing the first turn. MONEY MAYWEATHER (6) scouted wide at the first turn. COREY’S MAGIC (1) checked across heels of HE’S SOME LOVE (2) at the first turn and lost ground, and in doing so caused SOVEREIGN QUEEN (5) to be checked when passing the catching pen. KING RICHARD (7) yielded ground turning into the back after appearing to get off heels of KAY OH (8).

WINNER SUPERBLY (1)

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

MY LIGHTNING BLUE (4) and BEKIM MAXIM (9) were hampered and drifted back soon after the start when BLACKEY STREEK (7) crossed. SUPERBLY (1) retained the inside advantage to the first turn and led throughout. DANGER SCENE (2), JOYBELL MAGIC (3) and BLACKEY STREEK (7) were racing tight and bumping around the first turn, whilst MY LIGHTNING BLUE (4) and BEKIM MAXIM (9) tracked wide around that bend. JOYBELL MAGIC (3) was checked in the back straight and lost ground.

RACE 5 SKY RACING STAKES – 4/5th Grade 520m

WINNER RUMBLING RASCAL (1)

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

WILD WILFRED (3) and PRIVATE ROAD (5) got shuffled out the back soon after the start. The leaders got tight heading into the first turn and bunched even more when RUMBLING RASCAL (1) shifted out onto INTERROGATED (4), with FAB SURFY (7) and TIGGERLONG DOT (8) colliding on their outside and LORD LICRICK (6) was sandwiched in the middle and fell. WILD WILFRED (3) yielded ground down the back and caused TIGGERLONG DOT (8) to be hampered when approaching the turn off the back. ACE I AM (2) got off heels of RUMBLING RASCAL (1) when turning out of the back, and then yielded ground in the home straight after FAB SURFY (7) had collided into it at the home turn.

LORD LICRICK (6) was vetted. No incapacitation period imposed.

RACE 6 DAPTO TO WENTY FINAL – 5th Grade 520m

WINNER GAS METRE (1)

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

ABSOLUTE GUNN (3), WHERE’S BILL (4) and SAD MAX (9) were squeezed soon after the start and lost ground when BLACK ARJAY (5), PETRIFY (7) and FULLSTOP PERIOD (8) crossed. ABSOLUTE GUNN (3) was hampered again and lost further ground approaching the first turn. LUSTROUS (2), BLACK ARJAY (5) and FULLSTOP PERIOD (8) came together after racing tight at the first turn. FULLSTOP PERIOD (8) got on the inside of BLACK ARJAY (5) when passing the catching pen, but FULLSTOP PERIOD (8) then had a lapse in racing and veered out onto BLACK ARJAY (5) making head/muzzle contact with it, which caused both to lose their positions and they drifted back. FULLSTOP PERIOD (8) was vetted. No incapacitation period imposed. FULLSTOP PERIOD (8) was then issued with an endorsement for Marring (1st offence) in accordance with Rule 69, requiring it to undertake a clearance trial prior to racing again + 28 day suspension from racing at Wentworth Park.

JOHNNY MAGIC (4) was slow out. HUGO BOSS (2) strode out stylishly early and gained the lead at the first turn after crossing and checking WHERE’S PIP (1). MISS FOXY LEE (8) couldn’t cross early and drifted back after getting caught wide. MISS FOXY LEE (8) continued to race wide and remained back throughout, and was hampered at the home turn when DAWN MINI (7) shifted out. HUGO BOSS (2) faded on its run late and was overhauled over the concluding stages.

MISS FOXY LEE (8) was vetted. No incapacitation period imposed.

ROYAL TEMPTRESS (4) was slow out. YARRAMUNDI HANNA (1) began best but was quickly overtaken at the first turn. CARDIOLOGY (5) had a moderate getaway and was midfield early. GEALE (2) and MADLIENA GIRL (5) got shuffled back at the first turn. ROYAL TEMPTRESS (4) veered wide at the home turn on the first occasion, and just ahead of it MADLIENA GIRL (3) speared out across heels of ANGRY THUNDER (6). CARDIOLOGY (5) checked across heels of JUDGEMATIC (8) when turning out of the home straight. After getting well back on the first lap, MADLIENA GIRL (3) flashed home late.

TOTAL MAC (2), BUSH WACKED (3) and ALL ON RED (4) were all checked when NESTA NO CRY (5) crossed at the start. ROJO BONITO (7) charged up to contest the lead at the first turn but then drifted out, hampering THEY SAID (8). TOTAL MAC (2) and BUSH WACKED (3) tracked wide at the first turn. ROJO BONITO (7) balanced up again down the back but yielded ground at the home turn after bumping with NESTA NO CRY (5). BUSH WACKED (3) went wide into the home straight, as did CHOC CHIP MAGIC (1) and in doing so it relinquished the lead.

BIT SAUCY (8) shifted out at the start. NANGAR VIEW (2) was slow into stride. CURLY MAGIC (5) and BOGAN BOY RACER (6) bumped soon after the start and drifted back. NACHO NELLIE (7) sped down the outside to claim the lead by the first turn. BOGAN BOY RACER (6) and BIT SAUCY (8) tracked wide around the first turn. FROM THE STATES (3) was hampered and got shuffled back at the first turn. FROM THE STATES (3) and BIT SAUCY (8) came together turning into the back and in unison dropped to the rear. MAX CADY (4) shifted out after turning into the back and briefly hampered CURLY MAGIC (5).

BROMAC BOY (7) and HIGHBURY OH SIX (8) couldn’t muster any pace early. CALL ME KING (2) found the front soon after the start and led throughout. At the rear of the field at the home turn HIGHBURY OH SIX (8) clipped heels of BELLY SHOTS (4), with HIGHBURY OH SIX (8) then going wide. ESTABLISH (1) got across heels of POTENTIAL RISK (3) when entering the home straight.
