Professional experience:

Dr. Ali Ait Si Mhamed has an extensive teaching experience internationally (USA, Morocco, etc.). Moreover, he is a World Bank Consultant on issues of finance of higher education. He has examined financial aid systems in Latvian higher education. Dr. Ali Ait Si Mhamed was a Fulbright Scholar from the USA to Latvia in 2011-2012.

Dr. Ali Ait Si Mhamed has presented in many international conferences, has conducted many seminars in finance, distance learning, and many other related university education topics. He has served in many committees and boards to help develop courses, assessment tools in class and university partnership programs.

ANDREW GARELECK

Professional experience:

Mr. Andrew Gareleck is a native of the New York State. He has much experience assisting corporations and individuals in the areas of U.S. corporate, commercial, and immigration law. Prior to joining LexTech Associates, Mr. Gareleck worked in New York City for a prominent mid-town Manhattan law firm and in Lyon, France, for a law firm directed by a member of European Parliament. He subsequently spent three years, from 1996-99, leading the U.S. Desk of Ernst & Young's French law practice.

Mr. Gareleck regularly advises clients on business development and strategies for entering the U.S. market. He has assisted clients with the creation of corporations and limited liability companies (LLC) including foreign-owned subsidiaries and joint venture companies. Business entities formed by Mr. Gareleck can be found throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Gareleck also has extensive experience negotiating and drafting of various types of contracts including license, distribution, merger, and cession agreements. Among his clients are the Presidents, Senior Managers, and employees of some of the world's largest multinational corporations. His expertise was the subject of a French national newspaper article that appeared in the Le Figaro on September 22, 1997, entitled "Etats-Unis: l'école de la motivation". He also worked for the Office of Special Investigations of the United States Department of Justice, the office responsible for investigating and prosecuting persons who entered the United States in violation of U.S. immigration laws.

Mr. Gareleck is active in educational field and his teaching experience includes universities in France, Germany, UK, etc.

He has consulted public and private sector of organizations and he led more than 10 years executive finance functions within Latvian and International companies. He is now Board Member of SIA Sinergija, Management Consultants.

Andrej’s expertise lies in corporate strategy development and implementation, corporate financial management, business valuation and project management. He worked as a trainer of Strategic Management Training of Latvian Business School,
ANS Training Centre, Rigas Menedžeru Skola, as a trainer of Financial Management Training of GrossBuh Invest and Latvikon (AFW, PMI). He is now a trainer of Project Management program of AFW Academy of Bad Harzbug, Germany, he posses Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate in good standing and he is a trainer of PMP Prep course of PMI, USA.

He started his teaching career as a lector of Strategic Management program of RISEBA in 1994. His international teaching experience spans lecturing in Ecole Superieur du Commerce Exterieur (ESCE) Paris; Ecole de management, Lyon (ESDES); Normandy School of Management Kaen, France; University of Applied Science in Mainz, Germany; Estonian Business School, MBA programme in Tallinn and INHOLLAND University, Rotterdam. He lectures Strategic Management; Managing for Financial Value Creation; Finance and Financial Management disciplines in RISEBA on MBA program of Salford Business School (UK) since 2004.

Ilmars Kreituss graduated from the University of Latvia and earned a doctorate degree in physical chemistry.

Professional experience:

Ilmars Kreituss worked as associated professor at the University of Latvia and enhanced his knowledge working at the Notre Dame University in the United States. Later he turned to banking and financial sphere. He holds a professional banker’s certificate from The Chartered Institute of Bankers in London. After 15 years of working in the executive position in banking and finances, Ilmars Kreituss returned to the field of education. He started working at BA School of Business and Finance and at RISEBA in 2010.

leading asset management companies in the country. Jānis manages a number of diverse mandates including pension funds, institutional portfolios and a money market mutual fund.

Prior to joining SEB in 2003 Jānis has held several positions at Deutsche Bank’s US oprations, Sprucegrove Investment Management Ltd. of Toronto, Canada and Bank of Latvia – the country’s Central Bank. Jānis’ broad experience as well as his international academic background enable him to share a valuable mix of theoretical and practical knowledge about global financial markets.

She holds a “Latvian Bank Specialist Diploma” issued by Association Commercial Banks of Latvia and Institute of Financial Services (UK); a “Quality Systems Manager” diploma issued by Latvian Society for Quality. She began working for RISEBA in October 2011.

T. Vasiljeva was chosen as an alternate member from Latvia of European Commission’s Information and Communications Technology Standardization platform. An individual member of the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA).
