Duties: Provision of clinical direction, performance review, and support to a team of 13 neuropsychologists and rehabilitation psychologists. Conduct comprehensive

neuropsychological evaluations with patients with suspected dementia, traumatic brain injury/concussion, and other acquired neurological and developmental disorders (autism spectrum). Provide clinical neuropsychological direction and support for the inpatient rehabilitation unit, BIRC (Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Rehabilitation Center) and general medical hospital. Perform in-patient neuropsychological bedside evaluations and family education for patients with brain and spinal cord injuries. Perform regular staff education programs. Ancillary services providing surgical brain mapping, independent medical evaluations, and department program development.

supervision obtained from Dr. Kenneth Kessler of Chicago Medical School/Rosalind-Franklin School of Medicine.

6. CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY INTERNSHIP

Psychology Intern (APA accredited) 09/02- 08/03, North Chicago, IL North Chicago Veterans Affairs Hospital 2080 hours Supervisor: Bernard Blom, Ph.D.

Duties: Conducted short and long-term psychotherapy with the adult VA population. Provided outpatient neuropsychological/psychological testing. Settings for therapy included outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient medical bedside for individuals with TBI/concussion. Conducted and co-lead outpatient groups (PTSD and Dual Diagnosis). Three 16-week rotations included Psychiatric Consult/Psychological/Neuropsychological Assessment, Stress Disorder Treatment Unit (SDTU), and Community Reintegration Unit (CRP).

7. PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY ROOM COORDINATOR 12/00-7/02, Oak Lawn, IL Christ Hospital & Medical Center: Advocate Health Care Duties: Responsible for the entire psychiatric admitting process for patients (children

through adults) for a private hospital emergency room. Responsible for the transfer of patients to admitted to the ER to other hospital departments. Provision of crisis intervention, psychological assessment and referral services. Maintained current availability of inpatient and/or program accommodation.

Duties: Conducted short-term cognitive-behavioral therapy with adult chronic low back pain and headache sufferers. Conducted and wrote up comprehensive chronic pain and headache evaluations for treatment planning. Taught didactic skills groups to chronic pain patients. Conducted EMG and thermal biofeedback sessions in conjunction with relaxation

techniques and stress management.
