COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE UPDATE
Allen, Texas is ideally located for your new business or corporate expansion. Years of careful planning, investment in infrastructure and commitment to a pro-business climate has created a competitive location for companies and a great place for professionals and their families to call home.
As a result of these efforts, there are now over 2 Million SF of commercial development currently planned or under construction in Allen, including a new $85 million convention center hotel, several Class A office parks and mixed-use developments. I am proud to note that we have reduced the City of Allen property tax rate by 28% since 1993. Residents and employees enjoy an exceptional quality of life in Allen. With abundant options for housing, retail, dining and entertainment, it’s easy to see why D Magazine has ranked Allen as one of the “Top 10 Best Suburbs in Dallas” for the last four years. Other accolades include “Top Place to Relocate” by Forbes and a “Best Place to Find a Job” by CNN’s Money Magazine.
I am pleased to present this commercial real estate and economic development update, and show you why Allen is a great place to live and work.
Warm regards,
Honorable Mayor Stephen Terrell City of Allen
