BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT SPECIALIST

Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is searching for a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist, fellowship trained and experienced in Bone Marrow Transplant, to join our expanding team.

We are the leading clinical oncology research site in our region of the Gulf South with exciting opportunities for expansion. We will break ground for additional facilities in the near future. Our new 100k sq. ft. Cancer Center will house a multidisciplinary cancer clinic, radiation oncology, infusion services, and the clinical research program. OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL. The

Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine and the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center are recruiting for a senior faculty member at the level of Professor or Associate Professor with tenure for an endowed and named chair. The Wellcome Professorship will be awarded to a qualified MD and/or PhD specializing in an aspect of malignant hematology with an active research program based in the laboratory and/or the clinic. This individual will be charged with insuring that UNC remains a center for innovative research in hematologic disease and will have the opportunity to lead our malignant hematology program. Candidates for the position are expected to have an established basic, translational or clinical research program with a track record of peer reviewed funding and publications. BMT Faculty Position

The Division of Hematology/Oncology (DHO) in the Department of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University (OSU) is seeking applicants at the Assistant (or Associate) Professor level for an academic hematologist/oncologist with an interest in clinical and translational research to join our rapidly expanding Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. Applicants should be Board certified or certified in Hematology or Oncology. Additional post fellowship experience is preferred but not essential. The successful applicant will be expected to lead clinical and/or translational research studies and to take advantage of the multiple opportunities for collaboration with other members of the Division and Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC).

The Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center and the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, are recruiting clinician investigators to join the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant, Associate or full Pro-fessor levels. Distinguished candidates will be eligible for a Duncan Scholar, Professorship or Endowed Chair depending on level of experience and prior accomplishments. A research interest in GU or thoracic/head and neck oncology, hemato-logic malignancy, experimental therapeutics, benign hematol-ogy, cancer genetics, or population sciences is desirable, and individuals interested in clinical, translational or basic research will be considered.

Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and the Cancer Cen-ter are affiliated with five major teaching hospitals in the Texas Medical Center with a large and diverse cancer patient popu-lation. In addition, BCM is building a new hospital and out-patient complex designed to deliver state-of-the-art multidisciplinary personalized medicine. The Center is the re-cipient of a $100M naming gift from the Duncan family to be used largely for program development and recruitment.

The 280 members of the NCI-designated Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center generate more than $90M annually in cancer related research funding including three SPORE grants in breast cancer, prostate cancer and lymphoma. The Center in-cludes eight outstanding integrated Research Programs in Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Cell and Gene Therapy, Nu-clear Receptors, Pediatric Oncology, Prevention and Popula-tion Science, Cancer Biology and Molecular Carcinogenesis. Several new Programs are in development. Ample laboratory space is available in the Cancer Center. Nine Shared Resources are available to Cancer Center members and the Human Genome Sequencing Center (one of three in the country), an RNAi High Throughput Screening Core Facility and a Chemical Genomics Screening Core Facility are additional unique resources.

What are PDA downloads?

Blood PDA downloads are summaries of the

latest

Blood content sent directly to your Palm PDA or PocketPC PDA. The

summaries consist of tables of contents, article abstracts, and full-text Inside

Blood commentaries.

Why use PDA downloads?

Use

Blood PDA downloads if it is more convenient

to review the latest

Blood content on your PDA than on your computer. Full text of

articles can be read on

Blood Online or in print.

What are the requirements for PDA downloads?

Blood PDA

downloads work with the Palm operating system and the PocketPC

2002 operating system. They require a Macintosh or Windows

computer with which you sync your PDA. You must register with

HighWire Press (a free service), and you must download a small

piece of software to your PDA via your desktop computer with

which you sync your PDA.

How do I set up my PDA?

Once you have registered

with HighWire Press, follow the instructions to download

the HW View software. Then sync your PDA with your

desktop computer to download your

What is RSS?

RSS is a Web standard that allows a reader to set up one Web

RSS lets you assemble headline links from various Web sites in

one place — for example, onto another Web site — so you can collect headlines from

numerous Web sites onto one syndicated Web site. If you see a
