It is impossible for the committee to recommend any single software to our members.
Each software is different from the other in Content, modules, capabilities etc.
While the Software from Sankara Nethralaya was outstanding, its enormous cost was its disadvantage.
There were three web based softwares and three free standing softwares. The committee felt that all 6 were
suitable to be recommended to our members with some sort of comparative chart

The "Pay for Use" charges for Small Hospitals and individual practitioners are as follows: First time the patient is registered under EMR, Rs.12 is charged and for every further visit of the same patient, Rs.3 will be charged. A visit is defined as all transactions done in 1 day.The above charges are indicative and can change depending on the patient volume. It will be disuccsed with the individual hospital/practitioner who show interest. There is no separate License fee, as the application is going to be centrally hosted and made available to hospitals/practitioners. The individual hospitals/practitioners don't need to invest on any server.

Maintenance and service (remote/on site) are provided free of cost for the first 1 year (warranty period). 20% AMC after warranty period ensures continued availability of maintenance and service.
AMC will be 12% of the project cost for any clinic without upgrades, if upgrades required need to deal on the pricing for upgrade separate
Since it is web based model, every subscription renewal will entitle to use of the latest version and upgrades. The maintenance of the Desktops and other systems in the Clinics or practitioner's location are not covered in this and they have to be taken care of by seprate AMC's with the concerned vendors.
SUPPORT COST - Rs 250 for half an hour / Rs. 400 for one hour / Rs 4000 for 15 hours in a year usable in 15 minute slots. Support on prior appointment only.
